Litkenhous is out on the CJ website. I like his better...Holy Cross at 19th

Holy Cross is solid but really don't play any elite teams during their schedule except Dixie. Hard to rise in the pools with their schedule. They may surprise a few down state if they can get out of this highly competitive 9th Region.

Don't get me wrong. I think rankings are great to talk about and debate and for the players and coaches to get statewide recognition, but I do not take a lot of stock in them. The program in Ohio I worked with was 17-3 in the regular season and unranked in the state in their division and won the state championship. To me, until someone in the 9th Region beats Dixie, they should still be ranked at the top of the Region.

I couldn't agree more, Lit has Dixie rated behind Holy Cross and Cov Cath. Time will tell.

This is a much better rankings than the other two polls I have seen.

Would agree that this poll is more accurate than the others.

I have a hand in the football rankings sometimes but I leave basketball to my staff members that know what they are doing. In other words, it is a small, but highly informed group that does the BGP rankings and being a mod has nothing to do with the rankings.

Montgomery County has beaten both Marshall County and GRC this season, yet they are below them?

 

At least theguru is giving Montgomery County a little respect. That is more than I can say for the other two rating services.

The Montgomery Co. win vs. Clark was the first week of the season at home by 2. I wouldn't fret over that much. Both are playing well.
