Posters That Graced Your Walls

I had probably five Michael Jordan posters.
Whew! For a split-second there, I thought you said, "Michael Jackson posters." :ohbrother:

You thought MJAlltheWay24 was your long lost brother?

I had Farrah. Wow, I like the way that sounded.

I forgot that I have a limited edition (1/500) Tim McGraw/Faith Hill autographed "Soul2Soul" concert poster on my wall right now. Also have a poster of Pete Rose standing on first base after getting his 4,192 hit. That one is signed by both Pete and Steve Garvey, who was playing first base for the Padres that night.

One of the iconic sports photographs.

Agreed.

Still...it consistently amazed me how many kids my age didn't know who Muhammad Ali was. We all knew "Rocky Balboa", most knew Iron Mike...I was the ONLY kid among my friends throughout grade school who knew Ali. I remember in the 4th grade we had Kentucky Jamboree Day at my school, and we were supposed to dress up like a famous Kentuckian. I chose to dress up as Ali (it was a tight race between Jim Bowie, Pee Wee Reese and Muhammad Ali), and I spent the ENTIRE day explaining who the guy was that I dressed up as.

I had the Zeppelin Swan Song, the Pink Floyd DSOTM prism, Michael Jordan wingspan, and a concert bill poster from 1968 when the Jimi Hendrix Experience opened up for the Monkees!

Randy,

I fully expected this to grace your walls.

Well, my love for that film didn't come about until the college years--around 1998 or 1999.

I do have a leg lamp in my house, though. That'll have to suffice for now. :thumb:

"You used up all the glue, on purpose!"

I was given this one my first day on campus as a freshman at UofL...tyrabanks.jpg
