Tim Tebow to Wesley Woodyard: "God has spoken"

Tebow Told Woodyard "God has spoken"

Excerpt:

Amid the fanfare of Sunday's 13-10 overtime win over the Bears, Broncos linebacker Wesley Woodyard experienced an encounter with Tebow he will not soon forget.

"Tebow came to me and said, 'Don't worry about a thing,' because God has spoken to him," Woodyard told The Denver Post this week.

It was Woodyard who then stripped Bears running back Marion Barber to hand the football -- and the game -- back to Denver.

For Tebow, just another day at the office.

"I believe in a big God and special things can happen," he said, after he erased a 10-0 deficit against Chicago in the final 2:08 of regulation. "It's not necessarily prophesying, but sometimes you can feel God has a big plan."

Just my luck, why can't God be a Bengals fan? He is starting to enter Josh Hamilton territory for me.

This is the kind of story that makes my hair stand up.

"For all the Tim Tebow haters: you better start believing." - Wesley Woodyard

He barrelled through Josh Hamilton territory like an elephant-on-a-rampage two or three years ago...

Major difference is Tebow, whether you agree with him or not, feel he is misguided or not, is geniune. Hamilton was and is as fake as they come.

Exactly. Tebow is a genuinely good person who is doing this solely because he believes it is the right thing to do. He may be over the top, but he's doing this for altruistic reasons. Hamilton was disingenuous and did it solely to show how "changed" and "wholesome" he was. Say what you will about Tim Tebow, but he is a terrific human being.

What qualifies someone as a terrific human being?

Why is Hamilton fake? How often have you been around Hamilton?

Me personally, no. Family members and others I trust a great deal have been plenty.

So, define misguided. He has cameras in his face 24/7 and they continuously ask him about his faith and he answers. Seems he's perfectly guided. No veiled shots, no hidden agenda.

Oh, I don't think Tebow is misguided one bit. I'm saying whether you (general you) think he's misguided in his beliefs/actions (i.e. whether you agree with them or now), it seems rather obvious he's 100% geniune in his beliefs. I completely agree with you.

Immulating Tim Tebow:D

What qualifies someone as a terrific human being?

I think we both know what a good person is, and I think you're trying to get me to say that it's because he's an outspoken Christian, but I don't think that's the crux of it. Sure, I think living a Christ centered life leads to being a good person, but he's an all around good person. He treats people well. He gives back. Take away his outspoken Christianity, and he's still just a good dude.

You have family members that have been around Hamilton a lot? What have they said about him that he says or does? I know there was the incident during Spring Training a couple of years ago. You do realize that Christians do mess up at times don't you. We still sin. Nobody is perfect. Not even Tim Tebow.

His one loss this season agrees.
