Corso drops an "F-Bomb" on Gameday.....

^AL, In the 6 years I've been a member on here there have been a few instances where I've typed words that weren't allowed. Not on purpose, but it happens. Larry, do you make mistakes? I ask, because from the tone of your posts, mistakes shouldn't be tolerated, and you are perfect.

We pay money to be a part of this site, and in doing so, agree to abide by the rules. That doesn't mean we have to agree with them, but we have to follow them. When someone doesn't follow the rules, they get dealt with by the moderators how they see fit. This should be no different.

Are you really trying to say that Corso intentionally said the word, knowing there isn't a delay? I mean, do you really think anyone in their right mind will believe that logic?

No, I believe he thought there was a delay and I said that, I call radio sports shows since the 80s and they all use the delay system and I'm sure Lee thought it would be taken out. I do call a Bible question show and there is not a delay. I talk very slow.

We all make mistakes and I'm the leader of that. I'm retired from the railroad due to a memory issue from being exposed in the South Louisville Shops. I've walked into a ladies rest room and had ladies come in there and I thought they were in the wrong rest room, so mistakes a bunch. I'm sorry if it looks like "I'm perfect" I just wanted to point out that people change and its not right for us to OK this type of language. I have that right, but people will disagree with me and thats ok, but I have not labeled anyone but have they me?

Try to ignore. I used to get so worked up over the hypocrisy in his posts, but I learned to just not read them. Keeps my blood pressure down. But sometimes I just can't resist...

UK, here is one. "People don't bash you AL, I know you may not believe it, but people are not out to get you".

"I used to get so worked up over his HYPOCRISY IN HIS POSTS. Why does he read my comments, I skip a whole bunch of folks on here and threads too. But he can't resist so I think he likes me.

I can't speak for everyone AL. In general, most aren't bashing you, they're simply disagreeing with your opinions.

How does that close the case?

Some say its OK to use it, I'm just showing its not or BGPs and other sites will ok it. Its still not Ok to use, but there have been some good points raised, but you know I'm special and am a "holy more person," oh that one was too much. I'm printing that one of and showing some folks.

Imagine the news cast starts out showing Lee saying the word, I don't think we will get replays on TV. But lets re open the case, I have all day and there are no good movies on.

EDIT POST feature is my best friend, talking about my mistakes.

I bet I use it in 60% of my posts made from a pc. When on the iPhone I just roll with it.

Since you have all day don't forget about the Heisman thread. I posted my insight. #monteeballforheisman

Yeah, I went over there and saw it, you made some nice points and I replied, but you know I'm the Holy man and I can control things..:jump:

No, but I think it would be ridiculous for them to overreact to something that is small potatoes in the grand scheme of things. Mistakes happen. The annals of TV history are littered with incidents of people slipping up when on live TV.

So the sign that the chick from UK had up last year that said "UK girls love Dick" when the basketball version of Gameday came to Rupp last year was okay? My 11 year old son at the time figured that one out.:lol:

Obviously Corso thought there was a delay and there wasn't. Stuff happens, right.:D

If it were up to me to make the decision on Corso, I would let his apology suffice for now. While I don't like, nor use that kind of language, I think he acknowledged the mistake & the apology works for me. I'm just saying a temporary reprimand isn't out of the question. To remove him from the show entirely would be ridiculous. But a gameday or two off isn't too stiff a punishment IMO, even though I think it's been handled fine thus far.

Of course not. But she's not hosting the show either. There's a different standard applied when you're front-and-center.

BTW...I've noticed you've taken "Clizzy" and run with it. As much as that entertains me, you do realize you're going to make him hate me more than he already does, right?

Hate you? I'm getting new shirts made up.

^I'm late to the party....What is this "Clizzy" thing?

In some thread a few days ago, Clyde got a reference about a modern rap or R&B song and he asked if I got the same reference. I've joked before that my image of Clyde has always been as a "crotchety old man." (see Wilfred Brimley) Well, I didn't get the song reference but told him that in my own deranged mind, I often refer to him as "Clizzy." So I'll be sitting around one day and I'll say to myself, "Wonder what ole Clizzy's up to on BGP."

It's a useful way to entertain myself. But PP92 has been using it lately and I laugh so hard I hurt.

I was thinking there's a BGP rule against using someone's name in a derogatory way. Does "Clizzy" apply? Mods?
