November 21, 201114 yr For those who don't mind the word..write it out now like you say it, go ahead I'll wait to see it. Case closed.
November 21, 201114 yr ^My question is, why is it a bad word? Who one day decided that saying the "F word" was so taboo? Does it matter as to the "why" or "when?" Society is full of subjective measures.
November 21, 201114 yr For those who don't mind the word..write it out now like you say it, go ahead I'll wait to see it. Case closed. I just wrote it down. Now what?
November 21, 201114 yr ^AL, In the 6 years I've been a member on here there have been a few instances where I've typed words that weren't allowed. Not on purpose, but it happens. Larry, do you make mistakes? I ask, because from the tone of your posts, mistakes shouldn't be tolerated, and you are perfect. We pay money to be a part of this site, and in doing so, agree to abide by the rules. That doesn't mean we have to agree with them, but we have to follow them. When someone doesn't follow the rules, they get dealt with by the moderators how they see fit. This should be no different. Are you really trying to say that Corso intentionally said the word, knowing there isn't a delay? I mean, do you really think anyone in their right mind will believe that logic?
November 21, 201114 yr Some people are too careless with that word. I was at the UK-Ole Miss football game and there were 3 guys, who looked to be about 20, that used that word in what seemed like every sentence they spoke, and and in loud fashion. What bothered me was a man and with a young girl, I assume his daughter (looked to be around 8 years old) were sitting directly behind them. That's just flat out rude and disrespectful to use that language in front of kids. Professor, have you not been reading.."its Ok now". I gave Mama season tickets to the Cards a few years ago and had a guy behind us...every other word was bad, Mama begged me to not cause a scene, (this dude was really bad) I called U of L on Monday and they moved us and we got some great seats and then they had the announcer to ask fans to refrain from using foul language. Now that was back in the day,,, late 80s.
November 21, 201114 yr I can emphatize with him. I let the F-bomb slip two or three times...every hour. In front of a camera and Milions of people...Now I'm willing to say you have let it go after reading some of my posts. :idunno:
November 21, 201114 yr I just wrote it down. Now what? Clyde, post on here I meant, writing it out doesn't prove a thing and you knew what I meant, so again write out the word its OK no harm write it out! I wanna see the "OK" word on Bluegrasspreps.
November 21, 201114 yr Clyde, post on here I meant, writing it out doesn't prove a thing and you knew what I meant, so again write out the word its OK no harm write it out! I wanna see the "OK" word on Bluegrasspreps. I'm just having trouble following your point. Is your point he should be fired as you stated ? Is your point that the F word is used too frequently today? Is your point that it's becoming accepted by many? Is your point that Lee Corso gets a pass because he had a stroke? Is your point that there's a bible verse that deals with this? Is your point that people at football games say it too frequently? I'm struggling to keep up. I'm cool with whatever your point is. I'm struggling nailing it down.
November 21, 201114 yr We get it AL, you're holier than everyone. He said a bad word, get over it. Man, I'm just waiting for Auburn on saturday, doesn't mean much to me, all I have done is respond to people quotes, I said already once I took back him getting fired, he has some health issues and thought there was a delay, I'm "over it", just responding... Now you just read the posts and you would have saw that, you need to get away from this Angel (me,) because I'm "holier" than you. Show some class Man some people.
November 21, 201114 yr ^What in the world does that have to do with anything? It's against the rules to post it on here. No one has said it wasn't "against the rules" for him to say it. People have said it's not a big deal. Think about this Larry. Out of all the people who have replied in this thread, only one (you) have said he needs to be fired. Yet, everyone else who said it's "no big deal", is wrong? Sounds like someone is trying to impress their values on others, yet again.
November 21, 201114 yr Try to ignore. I used to get so worked up over the hypocrisy in his posts, but I learned to just not read them. Keeps my blood pressure down. But sometimes I just can't resist... There are folks that get me going to, I just walk into the other room for a while or I just ignore their comments, do that with me, and you will feel better and God bless You!

For crying out loud...I STATED ON HERE AT LEAST THREE DIFFERENT TIMES I WAS WRONG ON HIS BEING FIRED, I SAY IT AGAIN HE HAD A STROKE AND HE THOUGHT THERE WAS A DELAY, I said this early in the thread, but changed my mind. Please repsond to this post.
November 21, 201114 yr For those who don't mind the word..write it out now like you say it, go ahead I'll wait to see it. Case closed. How does that close the case?
November 21, 201114 yr In front of a camera and Milions of people...Now I'm willing to say you have let it go after reading some of my posts. :idunno::lol:   To the first point, that's irrelevant as I'm not in front of a camera or millions of people. If I were, you could probably look to Dana White as a reference point.
