It went on long before I played there. We had Thanksgiving practice in 1994.....I think they did all the way back to '88....not sure, before that.

I guess the only upside to Henderson losing to Butler is they won't get drilled by the Rocks. I'm guessing this one will be in the 60-70 point range.

You never know. Butler could be out there at night "watering down' the field even more. Could be a more than "sloppy track."

You can get good doughnuts, coffee and hot chocolate there. But the best thing is seeing all the old timers, and young timers, again and catching up. It has the feel of a reunion as well as a way to get fired up for the game to be played the next day. It is a great tradition IMO and a great way to start off Turkey Day.

Not sure there's enough water in the oceans to keep it from happening. And that's not to take anything away from Butler. T is just on another level.

The only suspense will be, does Trinity score more points and allow fewer points than Highlands does against Lexington Catholic.

Male beat Butler by 3. Manual beat Butler by 5.

 

Trinity played (3) games against Male and Manual combined, and won by an average of 52 points.

 

The Shamrocks won the state easy once they ran the table against the big boys from Ohio, Tennessee and Indiana.

 

While this is a good year for Butler, they could not beat one single team on Trinity's schedule this year.
