Who is Will Begley?

Principal at Boyle County.

Principal at Boyle County.

"First year" principle at Boyle.

Why does the principal has a lot of explaining to do?

Why does the principal has a lot of explaining to do?

Only if the rumor proves to be true.

Why would the principal be telling people not connected to Boyle County football that Larry French is gone and that he is going after Mercer County coach Paul Rains and not let anyone on the staff know? Trust me, there will be a whole lot of unhappy campers involved in Boyle County football who will want to know how he knew, why he knew and why he didn't choose to let anyone at Boyle County know.

I remember Will Begley. He is about my age and went to school at Garrard County.

I don't think he is going anywhere. He is THE MAN. We have a great staff and need to regroup for next year.

Larry French and Boyle County goes together like peas and carrots, and that's all I have to say about that..

Hope Larry is back.

It sounds like he is a great coach and a great fit with BC. I hope everything turns out for the best.

Yeah, we love Larry, JB. We hope he stays. The whole community loves him and supports whatever he may decide to do. We are grateful that he restored Boyle County football and brought stability back to the program.

Ive heard the same rumors as everyone else and they have circulated for a while. Coach French and his family are good for Boyle Co and I will probably take a thrashing for this but Im gonna say it anyway. I would not tolerated any of the garbage that man has put up with out of that administration, period! I think if Coach French does leave I think that administration has ALOT of explaining to do to the taxpayers of Boyle.

I also heard the same rumor as you PP92. I think lots of people have heard it but chose to keep it quiet and hope and pray it goes away (rumor). Larry French and his wife Connie are just great folks both on and off the field, it would be a huge blow to our program if they left. As for Will Begley who knows whats on his mind if he was half the man Coach French is he would be OK. If Coach French decides to retire, and any part of his decission was based on not rehireing Steven or the baseball fiasco. We as TAXPAYERS should demand that Begley be replaced.

Sorry to vent this close to Thanksgiving, but if Begley and his clan causes Coach French to retire. He hasn't seen nothing yet.

Agreed Rooster shooter!

I don't have a problem with that. I just hope it is someone with a Boyle County/Chuck Smith/Larry French type of connection. And like you I hope, wish and pray that Coach French sticks around through the Rees Smith years at least.(about 7 more years)
