If we win then next week check The Advocate, delete Kyle Bolin's name and add Patrick Towles' name. I guarantee Coach French will say the exact same thing. No disrespect to Kyle or Patrick or their teams but Coach French's mindset every week regardless of the opponent is that they are the best team we have faced all year. Even against Bourbon County and Pendleton County in the first round in the previous years he spoke very highly of both teams and truly sounded like he believed that we could lose if we weren't careful. I think the combined score of those games was 119-0. :lol:

Coach French is a class act. He will always speak glowingly of the opponent and especially of great players like Bolin and Towles. If you asked him who was better he wouldn't give you a straight answer. They would both be two of the best quarterbacks he has seen at a high school level. I hope Coach French stays at Boyle County forever. He has been great for the program. I don't know that the program would be where it is today without Coach French.

LexCath has been been fortunate this year. Nick Nash was lost early in the season with a recurring shoulder injury but no one else has been lost for the season. No one should be out for this game. Some players are a little banged up - but with the exception of Nick it has been good fortune for the Knights this season.

I see where Lafayette is hosting Boone County tonight.

 

Those that know where LexCath and Lafayette are located know that both are off of Clays Mills Road about a mile from each other. So traffic in the area may be congested. Parking on the LexCath campus will likely fill-up. The adjacent side streets are fine for parking or Clays Mill Elementary directly across the street will work.
