Does the Jackets' Cinderella story end on Friday?

Gonna be a tough one for the Jackets. They are striving to get to where Hazard is and we all know to be the man you have to beat the man. The Jackets have to stay focused in practice this week and really play almost perfectly to beat Hazard. If they play like they did with Harlan, speed and emotion, they can compete in this one...more later in the week!

I am pulling for Wburg but like cnc78 says they are going to have the best practice week of their lives and play at a very high level for 4 quarters to pull out the win against a very good Hazard team...it will be tough but it can be done.

I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see this one over at halftime.

Hazard won't need to play their starters for most of the second half, I agree with dragon slayer, 49-14.

Where you been Cat? Fever is still running high in Jacketland. Another District Championship and 5th-6th straight, whatever win over LC.These YOUNG Jackets have overachieved. Not sure they can hang with Hazard but I don't think you can tell them that.

Footballfever it looks like this group of young Jackets might as well not show up and just mail the victory to Hazard lol...No doubt this group has overachieved, the coaches and players deserve a big pat on the back...I am not ready to throw the towel in on this bunch just yet, but make no mistake if we lose that this bunch will be back to be reckoned with for the next few years...

I am pulling for the Burg'! Hazard is and should be the favorite but W'Burg has been on a roll. Shold Hazard look past them for a minute, the Jackets can win. The only ones that believe the Jackets will win is the Jackdets players and coaches.

I've been working for a living.....Not much time for football lately......I'm glad you still have the fever.....Enjoy your whatever win over LC because I still remember the days that if the mercy rule would have been in effect we could have started our party alot sooner......And that would have been for several years in a row....Just remember you started this, I wished your team good luck.....Come see me at the game Friday....

Watched Hazard on film ...wow...fast, big and strong. Heck nobody except the players and coaches believed a win over Harlan was possible..I talked after the game Friday night with several of their coaches and they were truly stunned. One coach remarked he'd never seen a coaching staff get as amuch out of so little as Williamsburg. Heck these kids really believe in Jacket Pride and you can watch and see the Passion and Pride Herron and his staff bring. Williamsburg starts 7 freshmen and is in the Region Finals..who would have believed it outside of the Jackets locker room? Hazrd is the favorite and should win, but I for one am not gonna tell these kids they can't play with the Bulldogs...heck maybe they are too young to understand they are a sacrificial lamb this week. They were supposed to be against Harlan too, but that didn't turn out that way. So I guess I'll drink some Orange Kool Aid this week, put on my orange tinted Oakleys, and watch these youngsters go to work...Hey Jackets you've accomplished more than anyone dreamed...now go out and NEVER SETTLE!
