Thanks Doc appreciate you pulling for us!

UPSET ALERT!!!! I think with the way the Jackets has been playing they a far from giving up just yet. If Sizemore execute his offense and hit play makers such as Griffith and Shelton then theres no stopping the Jackets from winning the region. Not only with a great recieving core the Jackets are very deep in the the back field with Jefferson Patrick and Devan Robinson. Not only can the Jackets beat the Bulldogs offensively but defensively as well with big Dakota Loy and Helton on the D-line and Logan Hamblin and Jefferson Patrick playing linebacker and you cant forget Jason sisk recking hovoc at the D-end position. Hazard will have to go through the toughg Jackets first before they claim the region already i say Jackets 38, Bulldogs 36

Like the way you think..hope you are right! :thumb:

Watched Hazard on film ...wow...fast, big and strong. Heck nobody except the players and coaches believed a win over Harlan was possible..I talked after the game Friday night with several of their coaches and they were truly stunned. One coach remarked he'd never seen a coaching staff get as amuch out of so little as Williamsburg. Heck these kids really believe in Jacket Pride and you can watch and see the Passion and Pride Herron and his staff bring. Williamsburg starts 7 freshmen and is in the Region Finals..who would have believed it outside of the Jackets locker room? Hazrd is the favorite and should win, but I for one am not gonna tell these kids they can't play with the Bulldogs...heck maybe they are too young to understand they are a sacrificial lamb this week. They were supposed to be against Harlan too, but that didn't turn out that way. So I guess I'll drink some Orange Kool Aid this week, put on my orange tinted Oakleys, and watch these youngsters go to work...Hey Jackets you've accomplished more than anyone dreamed...now go out and NEVER SETTLE!

Jacket Pride !

Great post cnc. I can easily see that Williamsburg is playing out olf their minds and witb PRIDE through this season. A person can explain one, maybe two victories you had through the season as upsets but when a team keeps winning then it is obvious that they can play and are on a mission. Williamsburg, win or lose has had a great season but something tells me that they are not ready to end the ride yet.

There is a 1A team and fan base in NEKY that certainly understands what your kids are doing. That is called "A Band of Brothers" type of mindset that can do things that no one except themselves think they sill do. Williamsburg doesn't "hope" they will win, The Jackets expect to win!

Oh yea, that team I mentioned earlier also wears Orange and that team is Raceland. CNC78, Raceland fans are behind you. To use the FNL t.v. series phase Jzackets go in with........Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, Can;t Lose !!!

Hazard 54-20.

Man that 05 LC team was explosive. Probably the most athletic team Coach Mitchell has ever had. I think Wburg will be like that in next few years just will throw more.I keep that football fever all years, other sports are just to fill in till football season again. Burg will need some luck I think but only in the form of good play. Take care of the ball, dont give up big plays and cause some turnovers. Stranger things have happened!!!

Do you really think they would throw it more than LC...LOL...And about that Harlan game I remember listening to Stan"the man"Lovitt on the radio after that game and he said "one" play was the difference in the game and it was played at Harlan.....So with that and the game being played at Williamsburg I would say it should have been a toss up....The only thing that shocked me was the final score....

Playing hard may have payed off for the Jackets so far, but Hazard will play hard too. Except Hazard has much more size, speed, and strength, and experience. I also find it unlikely that Dixon would be out-coached. I am assuming this game is at Hazard (correct me if I'm wrong), and that will make it even harder for the Jackets. Going to Hazard and trying to get a win is very hard indeed. I think that Hazard is on a whole 'nother level than Williamsburg and can almost name the score in this one.

@ Williamsburg

Jackets had a good Monday practice in prepping for Hazard. Sure its going to be a tough game and the Bulldogs are heavy favorites. On paper this Hazard team should win easily. On paper they are faster oveall, and probably a bit more physical. Paper doesn't play on Friday night though. I would be greatly surprised to see us pull out a "w" against the Bulldogs, but hey, if you're walking around and breathing...you got a shot. Faith and belief have carried me through life's adversities, heart cannot be measured..the test is how you react, and I have faith, win or lose, the Jackets will show up and play their hearts out...will that be enough..who knows...but hey nobody thought we'd be in this position so Jackets man up and go play!!!

Jacket Pride!!

Last night the monsoons drifted into the Burg and the Jackets had to practice in their indoor facility...lol...otherwise known as Three r Rodeo Arena. That's right folks a covered rodeo arena so graciously provided by Mr. Wayne Perkins. It enabled the Jackets to get in some contact work that would have been impossible in the gym. Dirt was flyin, manure sliding, it was great! Overall a pretty good practice despite the distraction of weather. The Jackets are starting to understand the challenge ahead in Hazard. Hopefully another good night of prep tonight, prob in the indoor facility again!

One more day to go Williamsburg...............................

MAKE IT HAPPEN !!!
