Since 2000 they have beat us eight out of eleven, and own us at Tuscaloosa. They have an equal defense, a two headed QB, strong powerful running backs, better kickers/punters.

 

We have the better RB, play beter at nite is another equal, they have a bunch of advantages. Even their grass eating coach has done well against us. I'll add more later, but I think our defense over all with the back ups are better than LSU.

I'm taking LSU even with being in Tuscaloosa. Both teams are obviously great, but I think LSU has an advantage due to their balance on offense.

Just a guess but I will take LSU.

I just hope that this one lives up to the billing/ expectations. All too many times I have seen a game with big expectations be a big disspointment.

I am picking Alabama, both teams are great. I think thst "the hat" gets into alot of opposing coaches and players heads. That will not happen with Saban. Bama is at home and imo is a better football team than LSU. That is certainly not meant as a slam on LSU. LSU along with Bama are imo by far the best teams in the country imo.

No doubt this game could go either way, but I am taking LSU. Will be close early, but in the end LSU wins comfortably...perhaps a by 10 to 14 or more. LSU is the more complete team, meaning they have all the parts in place with less weaknesses to take advantage of. Also they have big time playmakers defensively. I just give them a slight edge...the ability to break a close game open with a play or two. Not that Alabama can't, but LSU has more that can...if that makes sense. It will be fun to watch. If anything it will give the nation an opportunity to see the best college football in the nation - the SEC!
