Played whole game against Boone too...

 

Yep. Just going off what I heard from a CC parent as I didn't hear anything about last week's game. They said he remained in the Boone game after hurting a leg, but didn't run anymore. He just handed it off and threw the ball. I guess what they had heard after the game didn't turn out to be as bad as initially thought. They need the kid to be healthy in order to compete in the playoffs.

He played the whole game for Boone and he had to THROW because CC was down by what 30 points and tried to score. He also played the whole game against Ballard. I love when parents try to make assumption or go off of what people "say".

Yep, not only did he QB the entire game, but also returned kicks...

The Camels will have several walking wounded players, as well as one starter who will not be playing at all due to a broken arm. (But at the end of the season, I'm guessing most teams have more or less the same experience with injuries.) Sticking with my Camels by a touchdown!

I think this is a really important game for the Camel program. The bloom of winning the district has come off the rose with the losses to Boone and Ballard. I don't think the Camels need to make it to state in order for it to be a year that Steve can really use to build on, but I think he needs at least one or two playoff wins. Time to put the euphoria of winning the district for the first time in a long time behind and really refocus on winning this game. Go Camels!

I saw Mr. Durham last night at the CCMS Fall sports banquet and he looked to be ready to go.

 

On a side note, the 8th grade championship team has been invited into the locker room for pregame. Pretty cool for these young men.
