October 28, 201114 yr As for the commercials, doesn anyone really think J-Lo really drives one of those roller skate Fiats?
October 28, 201114 yr Author His gaffe wasn't the worst of this game by a long shot. Agreed. There have been a half dozen worse mistakes by both teams in this game.
October 28, 201114 yr I agree about the Cardinals. Kudos to them. They are definitely the Cardiac Kids. My goodness. Their whole season has been about coming back. I just can't see them losing the series after all they've come back from. They win tonight, and they win big with Carpenter on the mound tomorrow night.

October 28, 201114 yr Even though I have not really followed this series much at all, I will say that this series has turned out to be one of the most memorable World Series of all-time. The two teams, although not huge market, are teams that are full of passion and love for the game. They don't have the huge egos that are bigger than the game (except for Pujols and LaRussa). The Rangers are a great story and have a lot of young talent, Cards have had a remarkable last month and a half. This is truly what baseball is about and if every team played with as much fire and passion as these two teams then baseball would be a lot better.

October 28, 201114 yr His gaffe wasn't the worst of this game by a long shot. Never said it was the worst, but on a 1-2 count with 2 outs in the 9th inning and with your team up two runs, you have a player that misplays a ball that should have NEVER been a double because you were supposed to be playing a "no doubles" defense. May have not been the worst but it is potentialy the most costly. If the Rangers were to go on and lose this game and lose the series, I think more people would remember that error than any other.
