Even then it's pretty low. If you took his high of 17pts x 7 games = 119pts. That would be a middle of the pack QB instead of Elite. I think a QB needs to be at min 20pts to get consideration for elite.

This is my league. Defense gets 5 bonus points for holding teams under rush and passing yardage plus two for sacks, interceptions and fumble recoveries. Four defensive teams in the league are averaging 20+ and I wish I had one of those.

I played in a crazy league like that last year. A defense was the highest scoring "player" of the year.

A guy in my league scored 195 last week...standard scoring league. It didn't hurt that his 2 RB's were Foster and Murray. Both went for over 40.

 

That is pretty absurd.

If that's the case you may as well pick a new kicker every week. It is impossible to predict what a kicker is going to face on a Sunday. All fg's, all xp's or a mixture of both. Too hard to tell. Just give me a warm, uninjured body to fill the spot.
