October 25, 201114 yr Should be interesting to see what this leads to. http://www.foxnews.com/scitech/2011/10/25/apple-to-start-television-revolution-analyst-says/ Clyde as a stockholder should be happy to hear this. Also I think it's interesting that they're talking about getting in to the video game scene. At this rate home builders may start selling smart homes that are Apple fitted when you move in to them.
October 25, 201114 yr Author Wish I had bought stock way back when. You and me both, even right when they launched the Ipod, still would have made a bunch of money.
October 26, 201114 yr Clyde as a stockholder should be happy to hear this.I'm thrilled. Been taking a beating since Steve Jobs stepped down.
October 26, 201114 yr ...We invested in some fruit company. Said we don't gotta' worry about money no more. I thought, well that's good. You know, one less thing.
October 26, 201114 yr Author Probably still have time to get in. What would be the easiest way to do so?
October 26, 201114 yr What would be the easiest way to do so? Load money into an account online at a stock trading company and buy.
October 26, 201114 yr I'm thrilled. Been taking a beating since Steve Jobs stepped down. Beating? It set an all-time high last week. Down a bit since then. It was about $376 when he announced his retirement. It's at $397 today.
October 26, 201114 yr Yeah, and I wish I had sold netflix about 3 months ago. Or yesterday. I'm still long on Netflix. Rough patch right now though.
October 26, 201114 yr What would be the easiest way to do so? The biggest mistake people make (and I'm not saying you are) is to look at a stock price as a raw number and say "too expensive for me because I can't buy many shares." Wrong way to look at it. You don't pay future bills with shares. You pay with money. If you've only got $3,000 to invest buy $3,000 worth of a stock you like IF you think it's a good investment.

October 26, 201114 yr Yes, it had several drops after that and with the iPhone 4S deal. Glad to hear things are looking up. :thumb: I would disagree somewhat. Brief dip as a result of people expecting iPhone5. Not so much with his retirement. http://www.google.com//finance?chdnp=1&chdd=1&chds=1&chdv=1&chvs=maximized&chdeh=0&chfdeh=0&chdet=1319659200000&chddm=25024&chls=IntervalBasedLine&q=NASDAQ:AAPL&ntsp=0
