ColonelCrazy
Covington Catholic is not the #3 team in the state, at least not yet. Pendleton County & Holmes should both be above them.

IMHO CovCath isn't even sniffing the Top 10 at this point.
Bird Man
IMO, Pendleton County should be rated in the top 10. They are 5-1 with a loss to a Nationally ranked St. Louis Vashon team by 11. Keep in mind they have defeated a state ranked Homes team, a pretty good Dunbar team and last year's Florida 6A state champs Miami Senior.
ColonelCrazy
IMHO CovCath isn't even sniffing the Top 10 at this point. I was going to say that, but I don't know who I would put ahead of them. I think the BGP poll had them at #16, and they beat #15 Lafayette fairly handily. CCH is playing great right now, but I would agree that they are not a top 10 team...somewhere in the late teens - early 20's is more fitting, IMO. DragonFire
10.Barren County(3-0) Key win(s):Ohio County 62-56,@ AC-Scottsville 43-39. Respectfully, there is no way the Trojans a Top 10 team. The win you don't have on there was a 48-47 win at Metcalfe County, which has no business being a one point win for any top 10 team.

Thats only my opinion, but they have relly impressed me, the also beat a pretty talented Ashland team by 40 or 50. What would everyone elses top 10 look like? h.s.sportsrbest
Mine would look something like this, for what it is worth: 1. South Laurel 2. Elizabethtown 3. Scott Co. 4. Jeffersontown 5. Scott Co. 6. PRP 7. Shelby Co. 8. John Hardin 9. Doss 10. Pendleton Co.
Nothingbutnet
Thats only my opinion, but they have relly impressed me, the also beat a pretty talented Ashland team by 40 or 50. What would everyone elses top 10 look like? Yeah, but when they beat Ashland, the Tomcats weren't playing very talented!! They wouldn't beat Ashland by 50 right now and as the season goes, the margin would shrink!!
Bird Man
I agree on South being #1 until someone beats them.
Nothingbutnet
You never know who would be the best if the Sweet 16 were played right now. But I would think that the following would all be contenders: (1) Scott County (2) South Laurel (3) PRP (4) John Hardin (5) Pendleton Co. (6) Doss (7) Holmes (8) CovCath (9) ?????? (10) ?????? Crossbar
As a CovCath fan I can try to give a non biased opinion. The Colonels are playing very well right now. Do they have potential to be top 10? - Definitely. Are they at this point? - I'll say not quite. There are still holes to be filled such as a real inside offensive game. Most of the inside points are scored off Schult working the boards and getting a stick back and Young doing the same. At this point I would say 15 suits the team nicely.
