This game is not going to go well for HHS. The worst possible thing happened (Towles injured) and HHS really having trouble stopping Elder's offense.

FG Elder

HHS 7

EHS 10

2nd Q

Birds get tough and hold Elder to a field goal.

Anyone see any irony in the entrance of Donovan McCoy in this situation?

Well, we're all seeing just how important Towles is to HHS... HHS having to punt at the 19.

The (possible) good news... Towles is on the sidelines and the Elder commentators seem to think him being held out is mostly precautionary.

I believe Elder had a wrestling coach named McCoy, is that the connection BF or is this some super Fort T secret?

I agree jb, at this pace the Birds are going down.

HHS defense holds EHS on downs.

Ref spots the ball two yards short of where it should be on a 4th and short for Highlands. Horrible job by these refs.

You could be an Ashland radio announcer if all else fails.

4th and 10 coming up for HHS...

The passing game is just not connecting on the passing game w/o Towles.

Bad snap on punt... Elder with 1st and goal.

The EHS announcers are now laughing at HHS' football playing abilities after that play.

Elder fumbles in the end zone but they recover... TD EHS.

HHS 7

EHS 17

Highlands should have taken the safety on the bad punt. This is not looking good.

no they are not. I read it as usual color commentary. They were just describing what sounded like a terrible snap.

Poor Bluebirds, not looking good, coming apart.

TD HHS!!!!
