What would you shake up? How high would you have Franklin County go?

I've only seen teams from our area play so I can't really judge wky teams. I just don't understand how you don't raise a team who went on the road against the team ranked right below them and win 56-24. Especially with the close wins Christian County has had lately. Also nothing against your Dragons I know BG is tough but they did lose.

Franklin County has played two ranked teams -- 1A Frankfort and 5A Anderson County last week.

 

Christian County has beaten the following ranked teams -- Madisonville and Lone Oak (4A), Henderson County (6A), and Fort Campbell (3A).

 

Christian County has close wins against the 9th toughest schedule in Class 5A. Franklin County's schedule is the 23rd toughest according to Massey.

East Jessamine was ranked when FC beat them also at one point Woodford County was ranked.

It's still the 23rd toughest schedule out of 32 teams.

Sound like the scribe is comparing schedules and not results. If #6 beats #7 by 30 there should definitely be more than 1 poll position separating them. Especially when it is at #7's backyard and it could have been 50 if not for called back touchdowns. Even Kentucky has come within 30 a couple of times this year...

Of this group I have seen Harlan Co play. They are big, stong and very good football team. Look for them to make some noise in the playoffs.

Well you play the schedule you are given. Anyways, at least I gave us something to talk about in this post. It will all work out in the end. With Highlands out of 5A its opened it up to a lot more teams.

My only change MIGHT be Christian County over Warren Central, but its really splitting hairs on that one. They both have pluses and a couple minuses.

The same East Jessamine team that lost to an 0-8 team last week? The same Woodford County team that's lost their four district games by an average of 4 touchdowns? Just because they were ranked at the time doesn't necessarily make them great wins.

 

With that being said, I do believe Franklin County will be in the state finals. I'm anxious to see how they (or Harlan County) compete with the western teams. It should be a good game.
