Crunchie, I dictate to TP over the phone what to say on here.

If BW runs the table I will be one of the 1st to say congrats.

I think you have become one of the BW sheep , you being a newcomer and all.

You say the same as the others have on here the last 2 yrs, kinda like a robot.

The word is that Mayfield lost the starting center to a broken ankle. His replacement played some center at Ballard Memorial last year, so he has some experience there.

Considering Mayfield runs its offense out of the shotgun 90% of the time, that could be a big blow. It's not as easy as you may think to snap a ball 3-4 yds behind you with a nose guard breathing down your throat. Hopefully, this kid can man the position for as long as neccessary...

Come on Snotty, you've been doing so well, play nice!

TP took time to lay it out to where even BW fans were in agreement so I "highly" doubt you dictate to him.. I can just picture you and the boys sitting around eat'n pork rinds & drinkin' PBR's dissecting the BW games while you come up with the next clever thread to take a shot at us...oh man, has that been said before or am I the first BW robot sheep newbie to say it? ;)

I'm not saying I'm proud, but I've been a BGP member only a couple of years less than you so don't let my avatar fool ya. This is just the longest I've lasted after being reinstated and buying a new user name (more than once). Mr Guru booted me a couple of times for letting knuckleheads in the past know how I really felt. I had to learn how to just tolerate non-sense users a bit better and consider the source rather than getting sucked in to stupidity. Fortunately, these threads are usually so valuable that I have no need to worry, thank Goodness!

:notworthy::laugh:

Not much new to add so why post?

Although I will point out that Davis threw 5 TD passes in last weeks game. So there is one new development on the Beechwood side.

Really, there isn't going to be much worth talking about till Beechwood plays Newport Catholic in a couple weeks.

Some of the boys were at the house last night and I was listening to their take on the center position. They feel like the mew center is a better snapper and similar otherwise. So I ask then why has he not been starting all along and I was told that because he arrived late after the position had already been filled so it was left as it was til now. How it happened was freakish durning practice. Is he about equal? I guess we will find out. Hurts our depth for sure. He has got some reps in this year with the starters so it is not a complete start from scratch

Sounds like they are working on that area of their game and I bet getting the qbs confidence up is a huge part of it as it is usually somewhat mental. I do like that reciever who caught 2 tds against us last year, he is pretty good, name escapes me for the moment

Snake. All kidding aside, what drives the economy in the Mayfield area? You obviously have very good athletics. What type of business / industry is there? Just curious.

Farming, small business, we have USEC over in Paducah, we have the Calvert City plants, Murray State is close by. Mayfield/Graves County has a pop. of about 40,000. We are small but not tiny. FYI, I am a graduate of Anderson High School in Cincinnati.

Got it. Thanks. Hey, if you ever want to move back, there are some nice homes for sale in Fort Mitchell. :)
