What did Coach do better than Sophie?

 

I believe Coach kept his tribe united and on the same page for the most part. He was the unifying figure that didn't allow them to fragment and eliminated the entire opposing tribe before taking out one another.

Missed the reunion show....Anything of significance happen? Where is the next season? Did they reveal any big twists or anything coming?

2 tribes in the same camp was the big thing. Called it "One World" I believe. Do they share their food? Stuff like that.

I can handle Coach's game play had he not kept using the words 'honor' and 'integrity' and 'my word as a Christian man'. That is what cost him. He came off as hypocritical even saying those things when talking into the camera by himself yet he proved to be just as manipulative and canniving as Russell. That is what cost him. He wasn't true to the image he portrayed and it cost him 1 million dollars. He tried to play Boston Rob's game but he wasn't as good as Boston Rob playing it.

No, it was pretty boring....about like the season. The next show is going to be filmed in the same area. However, both tribes will be placed on the same island so there will be interaction before the merger.

It's going to be pretty darn interesting. People are going to be able to create alliances with the other tribes early and it will be interesting to see how all that plays out. Typically, you win immunity you get to relax and just enjoy your day. Now, you'll still have an invested interest in whose going home and depending on how you are alligned, you might be scrambling and trying to help your alliances in the losing tribe.

 

I think its going to be awesome.

I agree on all points and hope I would be able to vote the best player as well.

 

 

If I had a vote for the final 3 last night I would have voted Coach. Of those 3 he played the best game, IMO. When you can go through Survivor without worry of being voted out you are playing a great game.

Obviously we won't all agree on best player, I get that as well, but from my perspective Coach did a fantastic job getting to the end.

 

I like Coach and agree that I thought he did well, but getting to the end is only half the battle.

When you put that spin on it I become more interested. Hadn't gave it that much thought honestly.

No mental relaxation after a win, that's does add to it.

Was he ever in trouble? Like your post says I agree and don't remember him ever being a true target. That's amazing, especially considering he was a returning player. He managed to convince people to keep him around and let him "lead," evne though he denied leadership at different points we all knew that was bull.

I agree that it was a very good season. One thing that happened more in this season than any other was the "calling people out" during Tribal Council. Brandon gets credit for a lot of it but there were others who called people out at TC, including Ozzie calling out Coach.

 

This year is in the top seasons of me being less sure about who the winner was going to be in the final 3. Usually it is pretty clear who the winner will be and while I felt it was going to be Sophie, I thought it very easily could have been Coach. Also, Coach never had one vote cast against him the entire season and still didn't win the money. I wonder if that has happened before.

 

The final tally was 6-3 in favor of Sophie. Which three Survivors do you think voted for Coach? I know the answer. Just curious to what everyone would guess.

I was glad to see Edna tell people to get over it as they knew what they signed up for. I've never understood the anger and bitterness at the final tribal by the people who are on the jury. After 23 seasons is it not pretty clear that you can't win without lying and backstabbing people along the way? I don't think it is a reflection of most outside the game but in the parameters of the game that is the way you SURVIVE!!

Can anyone else on here say that they've never missed an episode in the 23 seasons? haha!

 

The ones I missed, I watched online. I believe I have seen them all.
