Let's say this happens here is who the jury would have been.

 

Keith - Voting for Ozzy no matter what.

Whitney - See above.

Jim - See above.

Dawn - See above.

All of these guys were rooting Ozzy and especially wanted someone from their tribe to win.

 

Cochran - Probably still votes for Coach.

Brandon - Probably still votes for Coach.

Drinking the Coach Aid.

 

Edna - Wild card for me in this situation. I think she might have respected Coach for his move and it definitely makes him look like less of a hypocrite.

Rick - Wild card for me in this situation. I guess the thinking is, he would still respect Coach and maybe vote for him if he hadn't have been lied to.

 

 

Albert - I think Albert would be mad at Coach and I could actually see him voting for Sophie. Either way I don't see it being Coach.

 

I think at best Coach could get a 4-4-1 tie with Ozzy.

 

I am not so sure about Jim voting Ozzie. I think he believes Coach played the best game by far and would have voted for Coach against anyone.

 

Dawn - I am not sure about her voting Ozzie either. If Sophie still is in the final 3 and gets teary eyed, Dawn would probably vote for her.

Dude, those four are voting for Ozzy 100%. I think Jim was just stuck voting for someone and was pretty critical of Coach several times in the game. But he had to make a vote.

You are right on Brandon, he probably isn't as likely to vote for Coach as I put in my analysis. But I wouldn't put him as a for sure Ozzy vote either.

Rick - votes for Coach if Coach doesn't lie to Rick.

Jim - Respects Coach's game totally and could easily vote Coach over Ozzie. (When Probst asked who would have voted for Ozzie, I don't think Jim raised his hand)

Dawn - I see her voting Sophie as long as Sophie plays the emotion card. Dawn is the ultimate empathic personality.

Brandon - I think he is voting Coach no matter what, just like he did last night.

You're throwing a ton of "what ifs" into it now. We could play that same game and say if Cochran stays true to his original alliance....

 

Bottom line is Coach did do those things, so we can't take that away.

Once Rick wasn't in the final 3 then Coach lost that vote. You know how he feels about liars. Rick on the jury is a vote for Ozzie.

Surprised me a little that Jim voted for Coach. But Brandon and Cochran didn't at all.

 

Jim didn't suprise me to much that he voted for Coach, which is why I guess him at first. He was out of the game long enough to let his bitterness die, and really he was more bitter at Cochran than anyone. Plus he struck me as someone who would appreciate the game and put those personal feelings towards Coach aside.

 

Brandon didn't surprise me until Sophie let it out of the bag that Coach had the idol the whole time Brandon was running around, making Brandon look like a fool. That look on his face when Sophie let that out of the bag made me think he lost Brandon's vote for sure there. Smart move by Sophie btw.

I think the anger and bitterness arises when people are meek, whiny, and apologetic during the final tribal. Own your game and say you did it because it was part of the game. How do you say on one hand that you want people to vote as it's a game, but on the other hand you are apologizing and trying to humanize your decisions? If it's just a game then you need to act that way at the final. The people who have owned their game (Todd from China, Parvati in Micronesia, etc) and played that way have ended up winning.

 

I'm starting to get more frustrated with that line of thinking than anything about Survivor.

I think as it often happens, the jury will vote for the person who played the best game despite personal opinion, unless that person lied to them or backstabbed them. Sophie didn't do either to Ozzie. Coach did.

Coach came off very poorly in the last two episodes which is why I don't think he played a good game. He let any thing he did well unravel when it most mattered.

 

Survivor isn't a game about who sprints out to the lead the best. It's about who ran the race from beginning to end the best. Even if you concede that he played well in forming the alliance, not getting voted out etc...Coach was sucking wind at the end...
