Coach's wrong move was choosing to vote Rick out over Sophie. He makes that move, he wins.

 

That was the wrong move but if Ozzie was in the final 3 then he would have won regardless of who was there. Without Sophie in that last challenge Ozzie likely wins immunity.

Most of you said the cast was terrible, but I really enjoyed the show this year as usual.

 

I will be honest that I feel really bad for Brandon after watching that reunion last night. I always liked Russel because I thought he was good for the game and I enjoyed him being sneaky, but he needs to get off his high horse. The guy is really a complete jerk.

 

I think Sophie breaking down at the tribal council when there was five players left definitely helped her get the win. I'm pretty positive that's when she secured Dawn's vote at least.

 

I'm very intrigued for the next season.

Why shouldn't Russell be mad? Brandon basically said that Russell ruined his family name. I don't know about you but that would upset me.

 

Completely agree on Sophie's breakdown helping but I think for awhile now it's been her or Ozzy's game to win.

I am clearly in the minority but I was squarely in Coach's corner. I thought he played a good game up until the end, he had a couple of missteps but like Cochran said, he played the best game and hoped the bitterness wouldn't keep him from winning. It did in my opinion.

My wife and I loved this season and thought it was one of the better ones in the past few for sure.

Why did Ozzie spend so much time just staring at Sophie during the puzzle challenge? Or maybe the producers just wanted to make it look that way. It looked like he wasn't even trying to solve the puzzle.

 

It always seems like the winner is some bland, rarely shown "nobody" that wins it all. I think the obvious reason is that, in order to get to the final, you have to be the bad guy. But when it comes time for the jury vote, all the people you screwed over vote for anybody but you.

I think Coach played the Russell game. Made promises to everyone that he couldn't keep. Said whatever he had to in order to keep his alliances even if it were hypocritical and bound to blow up. This is a great game to get to the end, but a pretty poor game to win. Coach came off as a pretty big hypocrite and coupled with a very poor performance at the final tribal it was an overall weak season for him. At the very least he should have came into tribal and completely owned his game. Something closer to what Edna alluded to at the final tribal might have gave him a shot.

Agreed. I thought it was a pretty good season overall. Several twists and turns and definitely not boring as a whole. There were a few boring episodes but that has to be expected.
