Way to go Rams :ylsuper:....what an effort from a team that has went through so much in one week that a teenager shouldn't have to deal with. Three deaths to players / coaches family members in one week. This team stayed focused on what they had to do and came out and unleashed all that emotion on the field.

I believe that all of our coaches, parents a school personel deserve alot of praise for helping these kids deal with tragic losses that go so far deeper than just football, that was the least of anything. Thank you to all that helped the kids on this team along with other students. Thanks for everyones prayers for these players. There, of course is still plenty of healing to do but for one night Raceland got to get away from some things for a while to watch a bunch of young high school football players leave everything they had in them out on the field.

 

This is just another Great Day to Be a Ram!!!!

I guess the little brother kicked some butt tonight!

Total domination by the Rams. Greenup County had three first downs in the first three quarters, and did not get another one until the Raceland JV was in. The JV gave up one score versus the Greenup County starters, which they left in the entire fourth quarter versus the Raceland JV. Great job by the varsity and the JV. Domination, pure and simple.

 

I don't guess the Greenup Coach will be piping off in the news paper any more.

I was proud of the focus and intensity tonight. The boys didn't take their foot off the pedal. Good job Rams. Way to stay within yourselves and not let the distractions of this week keep you from playing well.

I must have missed it. What did the Greenup Co. Coach say in the paper? I also didnt know there had 3 deaths in the Rams family this week. I knew about Mr. Elkins. That's an awful lot for anyone to have to go thru, even more so for such young men. Congrats on the win, and my continued prayers for the Raceland family.

He said, “We know they’re going to get their best game,” Mullins said. “Raceland’s kind of like the younger brother that gets to pick on the older brother. As soon as the older brother retaliates, it’s made into a huge deal because people think Greenup should win that football game because we’re the bigger school.

 

“We just have to shut the little brother up,” he added.
