:idunno: I am not so sure, just WHO is the little brother?? I believe it's all in the mindset and what players on a team "know" they can do and just go out and execute. Seems to work better than showing all you got in a newspaper article, but then to each his own. Thats just the way things are done here.

 

Total domination by the Rams. Greenup County had three first downs in the first three quarters, and did not get another one until the Raceland JV was in. The JV gave up one score versus the Greenup County starters, which they left in the entire fourth quarter versus the Raceland JV. Great job by the varsity and the JV. Domination, pure and simple.

I don't guess the Greenup Coach will be piping off in the news paper any more.

We tried using these excuses the last couple years. But we got smacked down for trying to use that excuse. We were missing one of our best players also.

Thank you. Baslik, I can assure you that none of my comments were meant at you, the GCHS players or the GC fans. I peronally think that it is classless for a coach to call a bunch of high school kids out on a public forum like a newspaper article.

I completely agree about Mullins he'll learn the hard way. When I heard about Williams and Marsh I knew we had lost already. We rely on them alot. Good luck Rams see you next year.

guy took his girlfriend to her first football game saturday. After the game, he asked her how she liked it.

 

"Oh, I really liked it," she replied, "especially the tight pants and the big muscles, but I don't get why they were killing each other over 25 cents."

 

Dumbfounded, her date asked, "What do you mean?"

"Well, they flipped a coin, one team got it and then for the rest of the game, all they kept screaming was: 'Get the quarterback! Get the quarterback!' I'm like, hello? It's only 25 cents!

Thank you cnc, as I said these kids grew up and bonded even closer in a weeks time.

Not to dwell on a post-game thread but I am still loving the total game effort. To have 500 plus yards of offense and give up 3 first downs in 3 quarters makes me happy. First complete game we have played.
