 Pro-union media ... that's a good one.

Everyone acts like anytime a story doesn't hit the national media there is a conspiracy or something.

A group of people who have been in the spotlight have just held hostages and no one has covered them. That isn't a conspiracy. I will be surprised if msnbc covers it and a lot less surpised if cnn does.

They both would be if "tea-baggers" held hostages.

 That's another good one I hear all the time. Any time a story isn't covered the way the right wants it covered, the "woe is me" liberal national media talk pours out. I think I am going to label this as "the media card". We hear complaints about "the race card" being used and I see this liberal media conspiracy having less merit. The fact is today's media really cares about selling ads. Whatever headline or story will get them viewers and help them sell ads, that's what they go for. You are probably right, if it were "teabaggers" holding hostages it would get more coverage. But not because of some liberal media agenda. It would get more coverage because more people would be interested in the teabaggers than the union guys and the media could sell more ads.

 Really? MSNCB is doing terrible financially. Their viewer population is the worst. I think they would do away with their format and think about how they convey stories if they were worried about making money rather than getting their POV across.

They probably won't show it on national tv to their small number of viewers.

All is well. It has been reported on the not-so-pro-union BGP.

Please! Don't blame all unions! These were longshoremen! Sheesh! Everyone knows they're rough! :D

Longshoremen is just a word away from Longboatmen, so let's be happy they were the former not the latter. Were that the case we would have had to deal with looting, pillaging and potential for rape.

If you don't think much of the media is liberal, you are living on another planet!

Just because Fox News says it, doesn't make it true.

Time, Newsweek, Economist, New York Times, LA Times, Washington Post, MSCNB, abc evening news, cbs evening news, NPR, and the biggest one of all, Hollywood.

C'mon. Ace. You know 75-80% of the media is liberal.

The Economist is liberal? I thought I'd heard it all, until now. This is how I've come to interpret conservatives' claims of media bias: Any source that doesn't actively toe the line of conservative talking points is liberal. And this is coming from someone who thinks our media is pathetic.
