So, what's the deal with Jac Collinsworth?

I keep hearing about this kid; umatched speed, great hands, etc... for years and have yet to see this kid play one down. Is he really game enough to just come in and make a huge difference in this offense with the likes of Sheehan, McCoy, and Christian?

The announcers said he had a leg/hamstring(?) injury.

If he can get and stay healthy he will definately help the Birds..

When was the last time he played?

Frosh year I believe..

Huge difference? Heck I don't know how to quantify huge difference. But having another very talented and fast receiver just enables Dale to rotate more WRs into the game puting more pressure on the other team's DBs (especially those that play both ways).

Yes

Certainly, both have impressed me with their sticky hands.

There are a lot of weapons on this team......kind of scarey.

When you include sophomores Hergott and Greene, as well as Harris out of the backfield, the passing targets are almost limitless.

I don't know the details on Collinsworth's health, but it seems he is one of those kids that is just injury prone. I think every team has a couple of kids that seem to get hurt or have ongoing injury issues. I would guess if we asked everyone to name a player or two on their team who has missed more games than he has played for more than one injury issue, we would have a long list.

Jac will help when he returns for sure. I'm not so sure though he won't follow his dads footsteps in the broadcasting booth. He does a great job on the school cable access show and really seems like a natural. He's definitely got plenty of football left in him though.

I would have made my teams list, I heard the people at physical therapy missed me when I wasn't there, but I told them just give it time and my bad luck would send me back their way.
