This is a good team but nowhere near last year's Lancer team which had a D1 QBand two D1 receivers plus studs on defense. In other words, CCH has a nice chance of winning.

I thought I read somewhere that LaSalle lost almost every starter on O and this year's senior class is down. So there aren't a bunch of stud seniors to step into and fill the shoes of the starters that graduated. I realize it's a GCL team, but only sort of in my opinion. It's one of the smallest D-1 schools in Ohio and with the exception of some rare years, generally isn't in contention to beat the likes of X, Elder or Moe.

I think CovCath has a great chance of winning. Game's in PH, correct? If so, CovCath should probably be the favorite.

Go CovCath. Beat those buckeyes!

Lasalle is still going to be as good as any NKY football team. They have two defense players that have D1 Scholarships (UC, Miami of Ohio). I am sure that they will be a very good team and CovCath will have to play very good to win or make it competitive. A great game to measure yourself by. CovCath will be much better in a few weeks while the defense continues to grow.

Not sure about any NKY football team, but you are right that CovCath will have to play a very good game in order to win. I never said anything to the contrary. But this year's LaSalle team from what I'm told is not near the level of Cincy X, Moe, Elder or Colerain. Last year, yes. This year, no.

LN , you are correct. Last year's team was an aberration by LS standards.

The only point was that for NKY standards its going to be a tuff match up. I am sure Highlands would beat Lasalle this year by 5 touchdowns. Edited by Ram
