I don't think they make up 43 points.

And it was 3-0 Lone Oak after one. Tilghman has -9 yards in the first quarter. They obviously turned it on!

Will do. On my way.

Just saw it a few minutes ago; didn't have any idea that this happened. Hate to hear this for the team and its supporters. I really thought that they had a lot to look forward to this season.

Would he have made that much of a difference?

Would he have made that much of a difference?

They missed he and his brother. Both are college prospects, so, yes, they would have made a difference, but, not 43 points worth.

Tilghman is gonna be very solid this year. Alot of speed, as usual, and some good looking athletes. There defense is really good and they look to have some good size on the line and those boys can move too.

First Downs:....................Lone Oak 7, ............................Tilghman 5.

Rushing att.-yards: ..........Lone Oak 25-(-21).................., Tilghman 20-46.

Passing-yards. .................Lone Oak 10-17-2 145.............. Tilghman 12-21-0 226.

Total yards: ....................Lone Oak 124,......................... Tilghman 272.

Penalty yards:................. Lone Oak 2-20,........................ Tilghman 8-52

Fumbles-lost: ..................Lone Oak 5-3,.......................... Tilghman 2-1.

Tilghman's defense teed off on Lone Oak quarterback Cole Ousley, sacking him eight times. Linebacker Trey Coleman had four sacks, an interception, a fumble recovery and ran for a touchdown in a brief spell at fullback.

Lone Oak was missing their two fastest players and it certainly didn't help their matchup issues with J.D. Harmon, who was spectacular. Harmon had eight catches for 139 yards and scored three times, one on an interception return. He turned the game around with some big plays in the second quarter.

Tilghman's defense is extremely fast and word from their camp is that this their best team speed in a while.

I am surprised even with those two boys out. Sounds like Lone Oak went into the game expecting to lose and did not play hard. They are btter than this even without their best players. PT will making noise in the playoffs like everyone thought. Good win for PT.
