I'll bet you a milk shake he did!

Ask the people who ran the Games at Applebees Park

Just for your info those guns at professoinal stadiums are not accurate, I mean I went to a Reds, Dodgers game and it said Eric Milton and Jeff Weaver were throwing 83-86. Hard to believe huh... It is amazing how something mechanical can not work right or skew the information. And from my visits to Applebees Park, when I was in the media/electrical room the actual gun reads different from the gun on the scoreboard. The scoreboards in single A baseball stadiums are there for entertainment not factual evidence.

I never said you were lying now did I? All i was posting was my thoughts, and I asked for proof, you gave me proof, period. I hope he is because he is a great kid, but I will just have to see it for myself when Boyle plays Danville this year. I am sure it will be Bertram vs. Witten another great game for sure.

You asked for proof and he gave you proof and you say that's it, period... but then have to add that you won't believe 'till you see it for yourself...

Come on let's give this one a rest. PLEASE!

Can Rich thrown in the 90's? Apparently that answer is yes. If you don't believe it, don't ask anyone else. Take your own radar gun to the park this spring and put it to use. Make sure it is calibrated just before you go though, we don't want any skewed results.

So is what you are telling me is that you will believe something on hearsay without seeing it for yourself, I said I believe you because you gave me proff, is what I am saying is that I am about 1/2 way to believing 100%, I will have to see it to make me 100%, so why dont you give it a rest, sir. And guess what, I didnt ask anyone else I asked him and only him.

This as nothing to do with 12th region baseball.

Let's get back on topic, so we can keep this thread open!

Who is the top 5 teams, pitchers, and Coachs in the 12th this year?

Some top teams in no particular order are Mercer with Bottoms and Robertson as one and two pitchers, Danville with Witten, Pulaski SW with Branscum and Rockcaslte with Brown. I'm sure there are many others.

Pulaski Co.

Southwestern

Mercer Co.

Danville

Rockcastle Co.

These are in no particular order, but they will be right there in the mix.

West Jessamine will aslo be up there.

How do you think Somerset will fare in the 12th Region this year? I'm not sure on what they have returning, i know they will be young, but how young are they?

Losing Cole, probably their best hitter, hurts a lot. I'm not sure of their pitching after losing Bray, either.

I belive that Somerset only has two seniors on the team in Andy Cole and Matt Salmons. As far as pitching goes, They have Jordan Molen-JR, Adam Wallen-SO, Chris Fitzpatrick-SO, Corey Price-SO, Kenny Hughes-SO, Jeremy Toohey-FR, and Scott Spears-FR. This could be one of the more premier pitching staffs in the state in the next years. It just seems to me that they are awfully young.

They do have good, young pitching. But do they have a #1 to match up with Perkins from Pulaski or better yet, Brown from Rockastle, both of which are district opponents.

Mercer has to have a slight edge here. They return Bottoms, Lewis, and Robertson. Their combined record last year was 21-4. All three will be throwing in the mid to upper 80's this year. They are going to be hard to beat.

Every team mentioned thus far has strong starting pitching, including Mercer. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to see Mercer last year, but I remember Bottoms.

You make a good point, and, No i dont belive that they do have a pitcher that can match up with either of them next year.
