I heard their numbers are way down. Can anyone confirm?

 

I believe this comes on the heels of last years class, which also had a numbers issue.

I can't confirm but it is at a time when the varsity is coming off of a state title and look ready for another...

Breds have 16 on freshmen. Low numbers but I hear team is very athletic. Good Jr High players coming in behind them.

About the same as last year and they were solid with some good talent. Any time a small school gets over 20 on their freshman team, it is good numbers so 16 is manageable.

It is happening everywhere as Lloyd has no freshmen team, Erlanger Lions has no senior team good new though is in the 7th and 8th grade 40 plus players. Future looks a little brighter. I fell NewCaths pain in low numbers. JD

I'm surprised that they are ranked #1. A few years back when this senior class were freshman, they were not that good, imo. They must have gotten bigger and stronger and have good younger classes.

I agree. It's tough for a small school to excel within just one class so to say they were not very good as freshman doesn't necessarily translate into a weak senior year. They have some kids that have gotten much bigger and stronger and will get good support from their junior class. This is typically the case up on the hill.

As Freshman they had a very difficult schedule, they we're tied with Highlands late in the 4th and had a good shot at beating them so they we not that bad.

In my days on the hill, we had 12 on the frosh team. We were known as the "Dirty Dozen"
