Here are some of the freshman you will probably hear of playing a lot of varsity this year:

 

Justice-Knott Co. Central (Started last year as an 8th grader at East Ridge)

Dualton-Clinton Co. (Started last year as an 8th grader)

McDaniels-Clay Co. (unless he doesn't play for golfing reasons)

I do mean Richardson. I had his full name written down on paper, but since I didn't know the first name of a few of the kids I was posting, I accidentally put his first name and didn't catch it. Thanks for the correction.

I didn't get a chance to see Stanley play this year, but going by what I saw 2 years ago he should definately be mentioned when compiling a list of the top players in the state for 2015.

Truman Salyer and Braxton Blair for Johnson Central.

Stanley and Robinson are tremendous players. Holmes has some frosh talent in Jason Covington, Kenny Poetter and James (Beetle) Bolden.

Cov Cath has the 6'5' Bo Schuh. St Henry might also have some big frosh talent.

 

There is no contest when Stanley goes head to head with the players from Holmes. He will probably play mostly JV this coming year. Maybe see some Varsity action.

Gobucks...are you saying Stanley is better than the Holmes trio? Or that he has struggled against them?

 

Not familiar with the younger players so honest question.

 

I have heard from several people that the Potter kid will see varsity mins for Holmes this year and start jv so I'd assume he's pretty solid. I know both Bolden and Covington will play up at the jv level.

He is better, every time they have played against each other the boone kids have won by 10+. Kenny Potter is good though, he can leap out of the gym. If they can find ways to get him the ball in the lane it's 2 points.

Saw the Turner kid entering SK play in middle school and some this summer against older kids. When he is on, he is as good an incoming Freshman as I have seen. He has an all-around game. I saw several coaches talking to him after all most every U19 game at SOAS in Florence this summer. He really excelled when he was playing a scoring point guard for the U19 team. Not only could he score from anywhere on the court, but made his teamates much better.
