On a serious note, I've heard they have one of the strongest LD programs around.

When I was younger HC used to have a party house down in Latonia. Me and bunch of my buddies used to go down their and hangout with Harney and Clark when they played.

HC has always shopped for new basketball players.

According to Slick Rick Broering at NKYsportsblog.com the Campbell boy is practicing but will not the state hasn't approved him yet. May be through Christmas.

I find it funny that Highlands people are talking about HC having people play sports from out of district.....what about the Trues moving while Jake was in seventh or eighth grade? Or Jared Laurenzen coming from Taylor Mill? Or Jordan Nevels from Inedpendence?

True family moved in (key word moved) prior to Jake's 7th grade year. I wouldn't say he was an impact player at the Varsity level at that age. Just face it, their starting lineup will consist of 3 kids who all attended other schools, transferred in and were immediate impact players at the varsity level. McClendon played varsity for Holmes his frosh year and then transfers in, starts as a soph. Avery plays Jr high ball at Holmes, transfers in and starts Varsity as a frosh. Campbell attends Cincy schools and then transfers in the first week of November. Hmmmm very interesting.

 

Its all legal I'm sure as they use the Catholic school angle but lets be honest here, they are building a basketball team here.
