He was doing his job. The same job the media did when they let Trump know that all of his dirty laundry was going to be aired if he ran for president. We haven't seen him since the Correspondent's Dinner when Obama roasted him.

 

The best interviewer in all of media IMO is Howard Stern, the King of All Media. No one gets more out of am interviewee than Howard Stern whether it is a politician, actor, musician, adult film star, Denise Richards or a wack packer. He asks all of the questions mainstream media is afraid to ask and he isn't afraid to push the envelope to deliver a great interview. For me, Howard Stern has set the bar in what I want when I hear an interview. People know what they are getting into when they sit down to be interviewed by Howard Stern. Wallace is no Howard Stern when it comes to interviewing.

 

There is also the pre-interview process where the interviewee is made aware before filming or recording of what type of interview it will be and the type of questions that will be asked so the guest can properly prepare and a smooth interview can take place. People can say Wallace was disrespectful because Bachmann is a woman...blah blah blah. What was she expecting? She could have declined the interview or maybe she thought she could handle his questions or his line of questions. He may not have told her he was going to use the word flake but I am certain she knew beforehand that she would get a chance to address her perception in the form of a question. Has she claimed to have been ambushed by Wallace? She should have been better prepared. I think he asked a fair and legitimate question and he shouldn't have apologized. That's weak, Chris Wallace. Weak.

Rockmom had it right (I'm going to go throw up now. ). The question itself is a valid one. The way he worded it was unprofessional. He could have asked the same question without name calling.

Again. I was a journalism major. I don't have a problem with any member of the media asking any person any question they feel. I wish more people in the media would ask questions they feel are important questions. I love when someone comes on Howard Stern and refuses to answer his questions and then he kicks them out of his studio. It is an interview and nothing should be off limits. Wallace seems like one of the few with the guts enough to ask Obama that question. Seeing as how he has asked pointed questions to members of both parties he may be the best person for that Obama question.

If I had my own cable channel my show would be the liberal equivalent of Hannity and O'Reilly combined. I'd love to dress down and talk over guests who come on my show with opposing views and brownnosing sessions with those I agree with. You would know what you are getting into when you come on my show and nothing would be off limits or you can go to another show.

I am not talking about Howard the person. I am talking about Howard the interviewer and there isn't anyone better at interviewing people. He gets out every detail from every person who answers his questions regardless of the topic. That is what you want when you interview people.

 

Howard the person is misunderstood but you'd have to be a long time listener to know that. I can understand why people feel that way. His show isn't for everyone.

I'm wondering if he had Obama on his show and asked him if he was an idiot because there are people that have that view of him, you'd have a different opinion. I think many on here would be saying it was wrong, many of the same ones saying the flake comment was ok.

How about her comments that "The Lion King" was a way of promoting a homosexual agenda?

 

How about her comment that the institution of gay marriage would lead to kids being taught in school that "homosexuality is normal, natural and perhaps they should try it?"
