June 8, 201115 yr The more I hear this kind of stuff the more I see it. His legacy may be that he can win titles doing everything. This time it is being more of a facilitator, next year it may be him scoring 30 per game, then the next time it may be locking down a forward like Durant or eventually maybe someone like Blake Griffin. Most versatile player since Magic Johnson. Only a PG would play the role LeBron has played in this series. No other star would sacrifice as much as he has scoring-wise in this series. Maybe some of that is shrinking, but at least some of it is trying to do what is best for the team. Haha we just saw that last series. When Wade wasn't do much in the series against the Bulls, talked about how he was struggling, and just playing bad. However when James has done the same thing as Wade did last series, it is him sacrificing for the good of the team like no other star has done before.. Man I will give you credit because you definitely are a huge Lebron fan, and will do anything you can to make him look good. However you have been way off base with your last few comments on the subject, first saying how they have struggled offensively this series basically just cause Lebron is not leading them. While they looked HORRIBLE on offense against the Bulls when Lebron was leading them. Now you are saying Lebron is sacrificing like no other star ever has, when he is doing the same as Wade did against the Bulls. Yet when Wade did it, it wasn't him sacrficing and letting the other star do his thing, it was Wade struggling. It's ok to admit if a player you like is struggling, I didn't really try to defend Wade and his play against the Bulls even though he was my favorite player. However it is getting silly with how you keep trying to defend Lebron now, when you did the exact opposite when the situation was the same against the Bulls except it was Wade struggling in that one.

Wade committed turnover after turnover in that series and shot horribly from the field early in those games. Completely different. LeBron hasn't really struggled in this series, he just hasn't been aggressive. Sure he's had some misses on some jumpers but everyone does.
June 8, 201115 yr No way could you compare LeBron from games 1-3 to Wade in games 3-5 of the Bulls series. I can't take that seriously.
June 8, 201115 yr No way could you compare LeBron from games 1-3 to Wade in games 3-5 of the Bulls series. I can't take that seriously. Wade: Eastern Conference Finals Game 3- 6/17 for 17 points and 9 rebounds and 3 assists Game 4- 5/15 for 14 points and 5 rebounds 2 steals and 4 blocks Game 5- 6/13 for 21 points and 6 rebounds and 2 steals Lebron: NBA Finals Game 1: 9/16 for 24 points, and 9 rebounds and 5 assists Game 2: 8/15 for 20 points, 8 rebounds 2 steals and 4 assists Game 3: 6/14 for 17 points, 3 rebounds, and 9 assists So lets see in those games they both took 45 shots. So if Lebron is sacrificing for the team, then how was Wade not when he took the same amount as shots as Lebron. So if Lebron was sacrficing then so was Wade. The only difference is Lebron did a little better shooting with the shots he did shoot after sacrficing the other shots as you say. Even though as you have mentioned the Mavs defense is not as good, so no wonder Lebron did better scoring in the same amount of shots. When it comes to rebounds they both had 20 exactly too. So when it comes down to it the one area Lebron did really much better in is assists, which is not surprising because Lebron is the better passer. The point is though, just look at the stats, especially the shots taken. How can one guy be sacrificing for the team when he has done the same thing as a guy you said was playing bad. It was either they both playing bad, or they both were sacrificing for their team. Which I can agree with you on the sacrificing, but the same can be said for Wade against the Bulls. Wade knew he just didn't have it most of those games against them, so he didn't shoot as much and let Lebron lead them. Just like Lebron has realized the same this series, and realized he does not have it right now and Wade does. I know you love you some Lebron, however can't say one player is doing something, but then not say that about the player who did the exact same the series before.

Except for the fact that Wade was only scoring efficiently in one of those 3 games. He played well at the end of those games, but overall he did not play well. LeBron hasn't been lights out in the Finals but I don't think anyone could say he played bad.

LeBron has always had the ability to facilitate. And in Cats defense I think I have been banging the LeBron drum more than him. Cats was ready to disown him after the last game. Now.....LBJ is shooting 51% from the floor, 44% from three and averaging 7 rebs, 6 assists, and about 2 steals per game. I can't call him struggling. Especially when you add his defense on Jason Terry in the picture. Wade had some bad games against Chicago. LeBron has just been quieter this series.
June 8, 201115 yr Author Wow, what a finish by Wade on the alley-oop. Also, I realize Kidd has made the 3rd most 3 pointers in NBA history, but I swear I have only seen him personally make about 7 through his entire career.
June 8, 201115 yr The oop to Wade was one of the nastiest finishes I've ever seen. DWade can really, really, really get up.
June 8, 201115 yr Mavs couldn't throw a beach ball in the ocean right now. It's not like it has been highly contested either they are missing some wide open looks.
June 8, 201115 yr The Heat are your 2011 NBA Champs. You can just see the look on the face of all the Mavs.
June 8, 201115 yr The Heat are your 2011 NBA Champs. You can just see the look on the face of all the Mavs. Mavs may have abnother comeback in them. I don't see them winning but I don't think it gets too out of hand.
