May 18, 201115 yr Dirk is 20-20 from the line and has 40 points on 12 thats right 12 shots. Refs really helping the Mavs out tonight.
May 18, 201115 yr Author Barea going nuts in the 4th. He has 21 in the game. Last 12 for the Mavs....
May 18, 201115 yr Author Isn't Kendrick Perkins supposed to rebound and be one of the tough guys down low. He has 4 rebounds.
May 18, 201115 yr Author Dirk gets any call he wants and KD can't buy a call. I can't believe the Thunder are even in this game.
May 18, 201115 yr KD just had the quietest 40 ever. ......................................Young T-Mac
May 18, 201115 yr Dirk had the best game of his life. Is there anything more automatic in the NBA than Dirk shooting from 12 feet out?
May 18, 201115 yr I swear Dirk is a member of BGP. His numbers and his play since the Larry Bird thread are ridiculous. It's like he doesn't miss a shot anymore and when he does you halfway expect a natural disaster occur. He is playing some excellent basketball. Especially for a jump shooting 7 footer. He still isn't better than Bird though. I'll give him top 25-50 status but not top 10 like Rick Carlisle said. He definitely is a unique player and we will likely never see another Dirk Nowitizki again. He is fun to watch though.
May 18, 201115 yr KD just had the quietest 40 ever. ......................................Young T-Mac Am I wrong in thinking that he is the best player on the Thunder to guard Dirk? Just as tall, long arms, appears to be athletic enough to keep up with him. Oh yeah, he is allergic to defense. Yep, young TMac. I didn't watch a whole lot of this game. Was KD even guarding Dirk? I think I'd double Dirk with Ibaka and KD and then have Sefelosa and Harden take turns locking Terry down and make Kidd and Marion beat me. Seems like it will take someone like Joakim Noah to effectively guard Dirk. If that is possible.
May 18, 201115 yr ......................................Young T-Mac While a plausible argument, Durant has already advanced two rounds further in the playoffs than McGrady ever has made it and was the unquestionable leader of team USA in winning gold last summer at the FIBA games.
May 18, 201115 yr While a plausible argument, Durant has already advanced two rounds further in the playoffs than McGrady ever has made it and was the unquestionable leader of team USA in winning gold last summer at the FIBA games. Good points. Maybe TMac isn't a fair comparison after all. How about tall Allen Iverson?
May 18, 201115 yr Durant and Westbrook shot 37 Ft's combined last night, refs were tight on both ends, IMO.
