I certainly don't know, but his numbers have to be much higher than that. I would think that he put into action many more plans than just 9/11.

That figure doesn't include the Afghani war on terror (death toll in the Afghani War On Terror is at 19,629 as of August 10th), which you could certainly attribute to him, although he didn't start the al Qaeda, he was only a leader of it. Still, death tolls from his bombings - 9.11 aside - have generally been counted in single and double digits.

Interesting. I obviously don't have the information. It just seemed from first looking that this number would have been much higher. Good info.

He was great in that movie.

Easily Hitler in my eyes.

I'm usually indifferent to villains in movies. But this guy was brutal and I wanted him dead.

Which means yes, he was great in that movie.

What movie is that, by the way?

That would be The Patriot I believe.

Stalin for a thousand anyone?

He would be my write in candidate for the longevity with which he ruled in terror the largest nation on the earth.

Ahh...never caught that one.

Agree with MJ that you should watch it. Mel Gibson, Heath Ledger play a father/son & both turn in solid performances. Very violent in parts, very funny in parts, very emotional in parts. It's really got everything.

I voted Hitler, but some are making a good point about Stalin.

Of course, there's always this guy:

The Character is Colonel William Tavington loosely based on Genral Sir Banastre Tarleton http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banastre_Tarleton . The actor who portrayed him is Jason Isaacs who incidently plays Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies .

Wasn't aware that the character was based, even if loosely based, on a real individual.

I've seen the actor in other movies, such as Armageddon. Just recently watched The Tuxedo (which was very stupid) and he was in it as well.

He was pretty great in Black Hawk Down. He played company commander Mike Steele very well.

I'd rate him ahead of the two Arabs for sure and wouldn't argue with anyone that put him ahead of Hitler either.

I would have to vote for Hitler. He killed more than any of these others. Plus he was a evil genius. He took over a good percentage of Europe during his reign of terror and was making a boat load of money doing it.
