July 28, 201115 yr Last night my ladyfriend made mention of something being a big trick. I pulled out my best GOB Bluth voice and said, "It's an illusion", and got nothing but a blank stare and crickets in return. Within an hour I had her sitting down watching the first episode of Arrested Development season 1. It got maybe 7 or 8 minutes into the episode, and then she didn't stop laughing through the end of episode #3. We're gonna continue with episode 4 tonight. My favorite Gob moments looked like this:

July 28, 201115 yr I have never bought TV show DVD's before, for the mere fact that I can watch them somewhere online if need be. I am going to make an exception when Game of Thrones comes out though.

I love watching TV shows on DVD. No need to wait 'til next week to find out what happens. One of my favorites. Our daughter was born in 1990; had she been a boy the name would have been Keenen.

December 11, 201114 yr I love sketch comedy and most of the TV DVDs I own are in that vein: The Kids in the Hall - Complete Series Mr. Show - Complete Series Monty Python's Flying Circus - Complete Series The Ben Stiller Show - Complete Series The State - Complete Series In Living Color - Season 1 Saturday Night Live - Seasons 1-3 Laugh-In - Volume 1 I'd love to get my hands on more SNL and Laugh-In. Of what I don't have, I'd like to see some of the Second City TV stuff. Also can't believe I don't own any of Chapelle's Show. It's easily the best sketch comedy since Mr. Show.

December 11, 201114 yr Back in the olden days I got then entire Lost in Space series on VHS. The only DVD series that I have is the first season of True Blood because I got the whole season for $17.00 at Target. That's what got me hooked and prompted me to add HBO.

Alf - The first two seasons Band of Brothers Boy Meets World - The whole series (that has been released on DVD thus far) Cheers - The whole series Christy - The one and only season Friday Night Lights - The whole series Lost - the whole series Playmakers - The one and only season (to bad it as an awesome show) Roots I've added the rest of Boy Meets World, and all of Prison Break since this. I have a feeling that I will be getting The Pacific for Christmas.
