April 28, 201115 yr He would not have seen a minute on Bellarmine's team this year. I agree with kybred. Definitely not D 1. and to think he was coming to UK.

April 29, 201115 yr Let's not get crazy here ... Gotta consider the history JS. That statement is simply over the top.
April 29, 201115 yr Let's not get crazy here ... He would have been the 9th or 10th guy on their roster, maybe. I saw about 50 D 2 games last year, and he can't contribute much at that level. Just too slow, doesn't get off the floor quick enough and really doesn't bang much down low. Just a case of the kid didn't get much better since his freshman year of high school. A small NAIA or D 3 school would be the ideal fit. Someplace like Union or Alice Lloyd and he could have a nice career.

Come on, let's be realistic.
April 29, 201115 yr When you only play 68 minutes the whole season, there is not much to watch. I am basing my opinion off everything I saw in high school and I saw him plenty. His feet are glued to the floor. I am sure there are systems that slow it down and are very patient that he could have success in. Other than being a good set shooter, what can he do that makes him a big time college player? He can't put it on the floor, he struggles finishing inside against guys of the same size inside, he's not a shot blocker and can't guard anyone on the wing.
May 9, 201115 yr Should be a much better fit for him! I hope he does well, and a degree from Asbury is just as good as any once he is done playing.
May 9, 201115 yr Author Asbury is now loaded for next season... they have two former UK players on the roster - well one recruit and one player.
May 9, 201115 yr Because you watched him alot at Akron when he played. Right? Come on, let's be realistic. Who was the realistic one? Just as I stated a few weeks back, a small NAIA would be the ideal fit. This is the best level for him and I wish him well.
May 9, 201115 yr This entire situation with Euton just reinforces how incompetent BCG was and is imo. Asbury is a great school and a perfect fit for this young man. Wish him well. I am sure he is happy to be reunited with some buddies.
May 9, 201115 yr Remember how some people got trashed on this site a few years ago for posting that they didn't see Euton ever being a player that could contribute at Kentucky or any other high-major program? I wonder where those that were disputing it then are now.
