There are varying degrees, shades of gray, shall we say. And the thing, I think most people know it, but are too afraid to admit it. Because working in the gray is a lot tougher.

I probably should have started my sentences with 'if a person'. I actually admire that you are that passionate about all discrimination being equally wrong. Shows you have great morals and you can't go wrong with that type of attitude. I, on the other hand, have varying degrees of interpretations of discrimination. Some are just worse than others to me. That's all. Didn't mean for that post to come off as directed at you as it wasn't. I know where you stand.

No one is joining you on your island with this Palin comparison. I don't think the Bush one does it either but it works much better for you than the Palin angle.

Like I said, they could have used a donkey(Dems animal representative and probably more clever) and the no one would be mad. A monkey depiction of Obama is crossing the line. :thumb:

Goose stepping and incinerating millions of Jews in ovens is somewhat different than calling someone a dog. Pistol-whipping a gay man and hanging him on a fence to die is somewhat different than saying that all Australians are criminals. While the sentiment sounds nice, the notion that there are no differences among instances of hate and discrimination is terribly naive.

April 22, 201115 yr Would you agree she should resign from her Republican Party leadership position? Not unless the GOP asks her too. Shouldn't it be up to them. Isn't that how these things work. You do something to embarrass your company/organization and they handle it how they see fit. No different then the Imus situation. I personally don't care what happens. I think everyone is a little too sensitive and should lighten up. I didn't take the email as racists but if someone does that's up to them. Does that mean she should be fired? I don't know, again that's up to the GOP.
