Nice, I'm going to have to check out some of these apps when I leave work later.

What about games that you all like?

I haven't really gotten any games. And I also refuse to pay for any aps, so that pretty much knocks me out of the good stuff any way.

You can get alot of the paid apps for free if you go to 4shared.com from your phones browswer and search for the app your looking for followed by .apk. for example if your looking for advancedtaskkiller you would type in advancedtaskkiller.apk and search for it, its nice...

That is a key app if you're looking to save on battery usage.

You can also get a lot of very handy viruses that will brick your phone. Enjoy!

If HTC is coming out with it now it will definitely compete with the best phones. I just glanced over a couple of things about the Thunderbolt (which is a stupid name) and it looks like a nice phone. The X or that phone would be good phones, just as good as the iPhone. I just wouldn't settle for the Incredible if I were you. And if you were to buy the Thunderbolt, just tell everyone you don't know what it's called

I went with the Incredible. My buddy who runs the store said the Incredible is the better of the two, and said the only real reason to go with the X is for the ability to stream HD, which I wouldn't do on my phone anyways.

I know the X comes with more gigs in the SD card, but I guess you could upgrade yourself if that became an issue. X has better video recording with more mics to record high quality videos, and has a huge screen that I often watch NFL network on. I guess there aren't that many more advantages to having the X over the incredible, but Motorolas interface seems a bit more user friendly to me. I guess it's all about preference. You should still be happy with your phone and Verizon.

Agreed about preference. :thumb: Thanks for the info as well. I wouldn't have even considered anything else if you hadn't brought up the different choices.

You would think since he runs the store that he would know the difference, clearly he doesn't. It amazes me how little people who sell these phones actually know about them. The specs on these two phones are not that similar and the streaming thing is entirely network based so if you're on Verizon (which it looks like you are) the streaming speed would be identical on either phone.

I would have gone with the Incredible as well, mainly because Motorola is just God awful. But the X is better than that Incredible. Not a ton of differences but the differences they have large ones. (Processor, screen, Internal memory, ROM, RAM)

The explanation he gave you still has me laughing, it's so ridiculous that I can't even imagine, if pressed, how he would have explained himself for that logic.
