Highlands QB's Coaching Change?

Featured Replies

So does this mean a coaching change at Highlands for the 2011 season?

Also, I was honestly kind of impressed that he's going to be their GM. What was his major in college?

Its been known since they announced the team name that Jared was the GM of the NKY River Monsters. Not sure if he is gonna continue with Highlands or not, but I don't think it would exclude him from doing so if he chose to...one of the teams in the UIFL has a head coach that is also a high school head coach...the indoor season starts later this month so the only overlap would be the spring workouts for high school.

I take it there will be very little off-season practice then?

Bob Sphire was Lexington Catholic's head coach and the head coach of the Lexington Horsemen (or whatever Lexington's arena team was called).

Wishful thinking , but don't count on it.

In Ft. Thomas, truly- what off-season?

They will be fully ready to play Game 1 before the Spring Practice is over, and I am NOT exaggerating.

I meant off-season practice on the part of the River Monsters. I know full well how involved the football program is at HHS in the winter, spring and summer months. I'd think if Jared had off-season practice for the River Monsters, though, it would make things tricky staying all that involved with his quarterbacks at Highlands.

First, "old news" there my friend! I mean gosh sakes, it was on TV like what, 2 months ago. Second, hey, go for it. I wish Jared all the best in all his endeavors. And I'm sure most would do the same. Sure, he would be greatly missed, but I really don't see any changes in the near future. IMO. Of course I could be wrong, He might have already moved on. Heck, what do I know.

Actually, you are giving the person that started this thread waaaaaaaay too much power in thinking he or she is part of the PHM. Now, maybe, just maybe this person knows something about "The Email" and just thought I would "Bump" this thread up since I can. LOL. DF5!!!!

Ok. So is there a problem or not? If Mr Lorenzen was to have practice for those nasty River Monsters, how exactly would that have a conflict with his high school coaching duties? Does the GM run the practice? Does he have to be there? Does he open the back door to let the players and coaches in? Is Mr Lorenzen a GM/Coach? I'm like, really confused with this whole thing.
