Ryle is playing extremely well as of late. I think much of that can be attributed to Perkins. Kid continues to play well for the Raiders.

Good point!! Oh wait, Ryle has already beaten them 3 times this year Home, at Conner, and on a neutral floor. One of the most overused silliest sports cliche's there is.

Ryle actually has beaten Conner 3 times this year. Twice in the regular season and once in the Lloyd tourney. So they will need to beat them for a FOURTH time this year to advance in the districts.

Both games will count toward seeding. Each team gets a home and away game for seeding purposes. Any other outside neutral meeting in a tourney does not count.

So it goes Boone 4-1, Ryle 4-2 Conner 2-4 Cooper 1-4. Conner and Cooper are locked in the 3 and 4 spots. If Cooper beats Boone then i believe it is a coin flip for the # 1 seed. Quite frankly I like this method. Good for each rivalry, schools, and fans. Girls should do the same thing in this district.

Thanks for the update. Makes sense. The paper today indicated the seedings were set but it sounds like Boone needs to beat Cooper to assure themselves of the top seed. With the district being at Cooper, both first round games (after the Heritage fiasco) should be very interesting. Ryle has knocked Conner out the last 2 years and already beaten the Cougars 3 times this year. Conner is due even though Ryle has proven to be the better team this year.

I would not say that Jim always has his boys ready for the Tournament, at least not the last 2 years.

Nice find Clyde but they have changed it again. That was 2006. The new one counts both games. Tiebreakers as follow:

1. head to head

2. Record vs highest seeded team left

and so on.

3. Coin Flip
