Big win for the Indians with Arlinghaus and Burger leading the way tonight - I'm sure Statman will be by later with stats and analysis from the game.

Nice win for the Indians, they finally hit some free throws down the stretch. Friday night will be a big test for the Tribe as they head to Park Hills to play the Colonels in a 35th District seed game.

Turnovers kill the camels tonight. They had a very hard time with the Indians press. Camels were led by Josh Graff and Nate McGovney with 16 points each.

Not sure of the final count but I think Campbell Co had to hit at least 10 3 pointers tonight.

HC took it to the Camels all night, to many forced and unforced turnovers, and missed free throws for the Camels. Congratulations to Holy Cross.

Big win for the Indians over a scrappy Campbell Co team.

It's a shame that the Camels are in the 10th Region, because they could probably make some noise in the 9th. Josh Graff was 2 assists shy of a triple-double. I will post a box and notes from the game later today. By the way, how long ago was it that Campbell County was moved to the 10th Region? Just curious.

Notes: The game featured 11 ties and 12 lead changes. Holy Cross' largest lead was six points with around five minutes to go in the game. I am not sure what the paper will say, but Junior Jake Burger hit two free throws with five seconds to go to seal the game and Josh Graff hit a three with 1.8 seconds and we did not have to inbound the ball which was game over. The Camels' largest lead was nine with about 2:30 to go at in the 1st half with the score 30-21 when the Indians went on an 11-2 run to close the half tied at 32. IMO, one of the keys to the game was not allowing Senior Nate Losey to have a lot of open looks. If my calculations are correct, coming into the game, Losey had hit 62 3s on the year out of 138 that the team had made in 20 games and he averages around 17 points per game. For most of the game, you could see that he has a great shooting touch and he had two 3-pt attempts that went down the cylinder and popped out. I do not know if it was fatigue or what, but he didn't have the same touch down the stretch. As I said above, Senior Josh Graff was two assists shy of a triple-double, Junior Dalton Griffin added four assists and Sophomore Nate McGovney had three steals. While Holy Cross was outrebounded, they only committed 11 turnovers while forcing 20 which led to 22 points. Jake Burger led the team in rebounding with seven and steals with three. Kyle Fuller had six rebounds, five on the offensive end. Jalen Avery led the Indians with five assists. HC was 5-20 from beyond the arc while Baseball Nut almost had it right with the Camels shooting 9-22 from three land. HC visits CovCath on Friday and is home Saturday against Dixie.

If I am not mistaken the 1996-97 season was the first for Brossart and Campbell in the 10th region...............
