Alot of good points have been made already. Rebounding, shooting, foul trouble, etc.,etc.. and I cannot add alot to what has already ben said. I do agree that if Jones in the way that he has shown at times the UL cannot cover him. I think that UK has more overall talent and as far as coaching goes I believe that Pitino is the better "in game/bench" coach of the two (dang that hurt to say that,:irked::D).

A couple of other imo obvious points, opinions would be that it just may come down to who wants it the most or of course the team making the most free throws, fewest mistakes, turnovers and mental mistakes. I really agree with Tusi and RP in that alot of UK fans seem to be picking an easy win. This game will be anything but an easy win for whateverr team wins it. Rebounding, Free throws, Turnovers an Mental mistakes will be key.

MY mind is telling me UL but I have to go with my heart in thiS one.

Gus Johnson will be calling Friday's Louisville/Kentucky game, I like my prediction even more now.

I can't look at the last couple games for the Cards and draw a lot from them other than the fact that Louisville can score a lot of points on teams that aren't very good. That isn't the case with Kentucky. What I might be able to draw from them is that Louisville let a couple teams that aren't very good score a whole load of points. Calipari won't have any problem taking this fast-paced game Louisville's trying to play and shove it right back in Pitino's face. I'd love them to prove me wrong, but there's too much talent on that D-League roster down in Lexington for the Cards to take this one. Cats by 15.

Kentucky 82-78.

Triple double for Jones as the cats roll 78-64

The only chink in UK's armor that I've seen this year is that they do seem to be slow to get back on defense. UL has the personnel to expose that, whether they will or not remains to be seen. I also may be the only one who thinks that Jones will have a tougher time getting to the basket than people think. I'm going to take UL in a fairly nip-and-tuck game.

I will be going to the game. Is Louisville having any kind of white/black out???

I heard they are asking everyone to wear blue.

There will be plenty of it. Credit where credit is due: Cat fans find EVERY ticket they can get their hands on at every game anywhere in the country.

 I was going to say that there will be a "Blue Wave". I hope that this one is the first win for U.K. in the new U.L. house. Freedom Hall was known as Rupp West so lets take control of "the bird cage" and make it "Rupp West II". :ylsuper: :D

Rough one for me. The MCCB is at noon, too, and I'll be at Capogna's Dugout in Clearwater for a USF watch party. I'll be watching this game on my laptop, though, thanks to CBSSports.com.

Buckles, Marra, and Justice are all out for UofL. Have also heard that Swopshire will miss the game too, but haven't seen anything online about that.

Might be better for UL if he is out. :D

Swopshire is likely out for the year. He's not getting better and is going to Philly to consult a specialist.

Pulling for UofL to win of course but could see this game going either way. :idunno:

Go Cards...Go Krogering!! :D
