December 23, 201015 yr Maybe this would keep the "toothpick" from tinkering with the top of the order so much. Phillips needs to hit in a spot where he can drive in runs imo. While I don't like him in the cleanup spot that would probably be where Dusty slots him if the Reds sign Podsednik although Rolen batted there for most of the year.

Not a Gold Golver, but also not the 2nd worst defensive player in the game, which Gomes was ranked according to one study/statistical formula.
