I have a hard time believing they were just going to take the penalty for fun if they didn't draw them offsides. It worked out for them that's for sure, easy for them to say that now.

You must have been listening to that wonderful Bengals broadcast team. They kept saying that the Saints were going to snap the ball. No way that ball ever gets snapped and risk not at least tieing the game with a field goal. Only the Bengals give away a game like that.
December 6, 201015 yr Just got back from the game and I think there is no blame for Palmer in this one. This loss rest solely at the hands of the coaching staff. You have to remind the players about the situation IMO.
December 6, 201015 yr I feel blessed because I've watched a lot of football and I've never actually saw that offsides trick work. It's kind of like faking to 3rd and then throwing to 1st in baseball. Only the Bengals... :lol:

I'm not complaining I don't know if I would have lasted into overtime. It was really cold.
