On the topic of people leaving the program, I heard that a couple of coaches wouldn't return if Reinhart did. Now it doesn't sound like they are quitting on the program, more like being tired of a certain coach.

I think he was saying that Dale is the best in NKY, which anybody could easily make a case for. And when it comes to Dale when he's in "coach" mode, he readily blurts out a lot of coach-speak and can definitely sound like a used car salesman at times, as do many other great coaches. I don't hold that against him or any other coach though...particularly the successful ones.

Have you ever heard Bill Letton at Lex. Cath. or Bob Beaty at Trinity?

I'm not saying that people couldn't do to have thicker skin, but at the same time, all a coach really accomplishes by cussing all over the place is teaching the youngsters that that's how "grownups" should act. I can tell you, for one, that at Cov Cath on Lynn Ray's coaching staff, cursing by the coaches was definitely discouraged, and dropping the f-bomb was not allowed at all. Players had to run if they cursed.

BBHS--You apparently joined BGP (taking the school initials as your screen name) for the express purpose of slamming Brossart football and Coach Reinhart in particular, with nothing but hints, innuendo, and "if you only knew what I know" type comments?? Guessing you're either a disgruntled parent or player, or a ex-player that couldn't cut it?

 

Why not try supporting the program if you're really a fan, instead of making up controversy?? It's hard enough to start a program in an area with multiple already established, championship caliber programs competing for players!! The coaches and kids in this program are trying very hard to build something, and sure as heck don't need your so-called "facts", but rather solid support of their efforts!!

Does announcing that your current coach is returning seem odd to anyone else? Did I miss the threads at the other 200+ schools in Ky that will have there same head coaches returning next fall?

 

I know there was a thread that Reinert was looking for a teaching position that would keep him from coaching at BBHS. Did he get a teaching job at Brossart? Did he sign some type of contract? I'm just confused about a school releasing information that their current coach is returning for the next season.

Well stickermann, Little do you know I am a big supporter of the school and program. Let me say that again school and program. In my opinion he does no represent what Bishop Brossart HS is about. These are good kids and parents in this community so lets keep it that way. Well spoken Colonels wear blue, Lynn Ray is one of the greats. Maybe rhino should learn something from the Lynn Ray school of coaching.

Well if he doesn't represent what Bishop Brossart is all about then why would Brossart hire him back? And who is dissatified with him? Apparently assistant coaches are not very pleased. What about the parents, players, administration? If appears that the Athletic Director felt he needed to announce the return of Reinhart for some reason which means he must be satisfied with his behavior and coaching. There must be more to this than people are willing to reveal here. But if Reinhardt is using profanity (and it doesn't matter if it's a practice, in the locker room, or on the field), I would think that Brossart would take a stand on this and not accept it as something they want associated with their school. Of course, it's the administration that makes the final say on coaches being let go or rehired, so apparently it must not be much of an issue in their eyes. I guess more information is to come.

What coaches are you talking about? If your talking about a certain coach I hope he doesn't come back. He is way to busy with his business. I'm glad Matt is comeing back. I have known Matt for a long time. He is a great guy and a hard worker.

As an alum I am dissatisfied of the way he represents Brossart. I have talked to multiple parents,kids, and staff who feel the same way. Maybe that is why rumors of some of his coaching staff are not coming back.

Nice post but the facts are the facts!! I know of two kids who played in the FTJRFL who went there for a visit and the PARENTS did not like the way he was yelling and cursing at the kids. The program lost two good football players to the NCC just because of him. So if your going to build a winning program it starts at the top and if you cant do it with out all the extras move on who needs that!!!!!
