I never will understand why coaches feel it necessary to use 4 letter words to kids in order to get their message across. If cursing is such a good teaching tool than why aren't our Math, English and History teachers doing it left and right in the classroom? I prefer the way Mueller does it at Highlands!

I am sure the released of this info was from the Brossart website and someone just posted it on here. Schools do have websites to pass on info to the students. He has done a fine job at brossart.

ABC2 , you make a great point about losing players. This new program CAN NOT afford to lose any players and they WILL continue to lose football players under Reinhart. No parent wants a guy like that teaching there child.

 

 

 

Nice post but the facts are the facts!! I know of two kids who played in the FTJRFL who went there for a visit and the PARENTS did not like the way he was yelling and cursing at the kids. The program lost two good football players to the NCC just because of him. So if your going to build a winning program it starts at the top and if you cant do it with out all the extras move on who needs that!!!!!

I've listened to this bashing for long enough, it's obvious Big Coach and ABC2 have a grudge against Matt and the program. I guess both of you have been at every practice and game and function that has gone on since he has been there? I don't know why post get shut down on here all the time for negativaty but this one has gone on for this long. He has done a good job in a short period of time and anybody with a beef tries to find the smallest things to pick on. You guys need to grow up!!!!!!!!!!!

I think everyone needs to re-read Rule 8:

First of all i have never meet the coach only what some parents have told me that were interested in going to BBHS to play football there and after watching practice several time did not want there kids around that. Not saying right or wrong but the facts are the facts. If the truth hurts sorry and some times people think the truth is bashing but its still the truth. BBHS football team will never be on the same level as NCC if that type of stuff contiunes. Did you see NCC AD sending out a press release saying there coach was coming back??? Or HHS saying Dale was coming back??? No they are never in question they do things the right way and treat the kids with respect. Enought said !!!!!!!!

I was unaware that Dale's or Eddie's job was in question. The only time press releases are issued is to inform the public of either a new hire, if a coach is resigning or is fired, or a coaches job is in question and a decision is made. So, I'm not sure why NCC or Highlands would do such a thing, maybe you could elaborate.

The reason the AD made a statement was because he was Reinhart was looking for a teaching job to go along with football. They wanted to let everyone know that he is not leaving to pursue another option. Apparently 40 sets of parents want their kids playing for him. Thats not counting the middle school. I will agree with you on one point Eddie and Dale are great coach's but i'm sure they make mistakes as well.

Not knowing Coach Reinhart and never having seen him coach, I am looking at two things. One is the program itself. It has made good strides quickly as a fledgling program. The other is the discussion on here about the profanity he uses. It seems that some are saying he uses a lot and I do not really see that being refuted by those defending him. That is obviously something that if the adminisiration does not like it can be dealt with. I know the AD has coached (very succesfully I might add) and profanity has never been a part of his dealings with his athletes. The use of profanity is not really necessary to be successful........but for some coaches it is part of their language. Having said that some of the statements on here make him seem overboard.

I'm not a member of the Brossart family or the St. Joe family for that matter, so I can honestly say your post is utterly ridiculous and an insult to the entire community that supports Brossart. I was just at a Brossart basketball game on Saturday night - smack dab in the middle of the Brossart stands and had no problems with language of any sort...even with JV and varsity losses. As far as beer taps, I'm sure you would find those at most Catholic schools if they use those areas for wedding receptions. You make it seem as though the beer is flowing during lunch time when school is in session. So yes, I do fault the coach for using language regularly because that is absolutely NOT consistent with the values of the Brossart community.
