Teacher Tosses Students For Not Supporting Homosexuality

Personally, I despise the ACLU, but every once in a while they actually do some good rather than harm.

And that's why we need them. They may not always do the popular thing, but that's the point. The majority regularly tramples on the rights of individuals. People love to bash the ACLU until it's their rights being trampled on.

People need to bash them when they do all the stupid crap they do. However, as I said, they do some good so I can agree with you to a point.
Somehow, I doubt it.

Hogwash. The ACLU has been known on multiple occasions to defend KKK and neo-Nazi, as well as other unpopular or non-PC groups' free speech interests.

You doubt that I'll continue to bash the ACLU?

In this particular case, since they would be weighing in on the side you would seem to support.

Not surprising that those who label people of faith as intolerant are intolerant of people of faith's views. And they call us hypocrits. :D

This guy doesn't belong in the classroom showing intolerance like that. Unless the students were disrespectful and that doesn't seem to be the case.

How does that apply in this particular case?

I agree that if the kid wasn't causing a disruption or being disrespectful that the teacher is simply out of line in this case.

He had a beautiful chance to have a good discussion and open eyes on both sides of the issue and he failed. Beyond the "book learnin'" that type of education cannot be screwed up like this case.

How does that apply in this particular case?

Was the teacher who was mad because he apparently felt the student's faith was not tolerant, tolerant himself of the student's faith?

Apparently? You sure that you aren't jumping to the conclusion that you want here? I don't support what the teacher did, based on what I have read, but I don't see where he accused anyone's faith of being intolerant.

Him and that darned Jimmy Kimmel.

You all know Conan O'Brien is the ring leader....
