Yes. It allows you to reload and aim faster. If you use it in conjunction with the dual mags, reloading is blazing fast.

I've got my KD up to a 1.80. I'm hoping here soon it'll be up to a 2.

 

The prestige hit my K/D hard, dropping me from 3.10 to 2.93, but I'm climbing back again, back to 2.96.

I think it depends on the map. If you go to Summit, the Famas, AUG and Commando will get you killed quick when you run up on a group/gamer with a AK74u's.

 

Well its worked well for me up to this point. I've got a 2.32 K/D with a 2.06 W/L. A lot of it is what you're comfortable with but if you can master the Famas, it is definitely the most versaitle gun in the game which will allow you to domiinate it, relative to the people you're playing against. The fact is AK74u's are unmatched up close but it leaves alot to be desired once there is some distance between you and your opponent. I will agree to the extent that weapon choice can be very dependent on the map being played. Smaller, closer-quarter maps favor SMG type players but Famas users are close 2nd. The bigger the map gets, the bigger advantage a Famas user has.

Almost exclusively Team Deathmatch. A lot of the hit I took after prestiging was playing Headquarters to amp the score and level back up quickly, and consequently died a lot trying to get the objectives, but I always play Team Deathmatch or to a lesser extent, Mercenary Team Deathmatch.

 

I've gotten progressively higher since the original Modern Warfare, because essentially, you're playing the same game. There's little quirks and differences in the feel and style of each, but I feel if you've played one, you've played them all. I think the learning curve was especially low on this one, because the currency system allows you to buy the things you need for your style more quickly. Once upon a time you had to get X number of kills to get your Red Dot sight. Now you can have it after one game if you do well enough for the lower ones, and can get it at the same time if you've saved up when you get to the higher level guns. Killstreaks, etc., all of it, you get it quicker.

Last night while playing TDM in a random lobby, I guess I irritated a guy by just destroying him in a few games. He ran his mouth non-stop for 2 consecutive matches, I got tired of hearing it because he wasn't backing up what his mouth was selling. So I made it my mission to seek him out and kill him as often as possible. I had a lot of fun with it. He started making excuses about why he couldn't do this or do that. The final excuse was he didn't have his clan with him, which I didn't either. He's sent me a friend invite and wants me to get my "boyz" together and he'll get his and we'll have a little clan war. I'm hoping his "boyz" are about the same skill level he is, if so, it will be a fun night for me and my team.

So update on the Clan Battle....I sent him a message last night with my team names and levels and 10 minutes later received a message that they weren't interested in playing us. Probably a good thing for them. Would have been fun to see how we would have done against another team.

Quit playing early tonight because I went 20 kills and no deaths in Firing Range. Not going to get better than that.

I'm now on my 11th prestige and hope to be on my 12th in a few days...can't wait for the new maps to come out on March 3.

I'm on the fence on whether to go for the next prestige before the DLC or wait until after I've had a chance to play the DLC and then going up a level.
